Thank you to everyone who played along this last week, it was a fantastic turn-out! How exciting it is to see Sweet November Stamps getting such a warm reception, and there is still time to get entered into the drawing for all four of these stamps over at the ATS blog... but you gotta hurry or you'll miss out!
Don't forget that all of these stamps will be available at All That Scraps beginning tomorrow. And if you thought this was fun be sure to keep checking back here for a special SNS Easter release and candy that will be here before you know it! ;)
Ok, now it's on to my card for the day. This is my last Sunday as a guest sweetie for the Cupcake Inspiration challenge and I've had so much fun playing along this month... thanks Rachel!
This week's inspiration had a very definite Valentine's vibe to it that I just couldn't resist and thanks to the wonderful miss Shirley and her fabulous blog candy that I won recently (thanks again Shirley!), I had the perfect stamp to use. Oh and see the big heart in between the two little sweeties? It is nice and blank, making it the perfect place to add a sentiment if you ask me... I love it! :)
So with the inspiration pic in hand and stamp chosen the rest of the card came together very quickly... the colors and glittered papers in my new K&Co KaZoo paper pad totally fit the bill and these Jolee's candy heart embellishments were just right for finishing the whole thing off. This is one of those cards where everything fell into place so perfectly that it just feels like all these different elements were always meant to be used together. I can't help it, that always brings out my inner stamping Cheerio... rah, rah, YEAH! heeheehee props to my fellow Gleeks who catch that reference... ;)
We would love to have you play along this week. Make sure to add a direct link to your NEW creation via the Mr Linky on Rachel's blog by Saturday Feb. 6th at 9pm MT. If you upload to a public gallery like SCS or PCP make sure to use keyword CIC44 so we can easily find you. Remember, no cupcake stamps are required! Rachel will post the Top 5 next Sunday!
And check out what the rest of the sweetie's have created this week:
~Colleen, ~Michelle, ~Rachel, ~Teresa

More challenge cards
Good morning friends!
No weekend off for me but before I head to work I wanted to share the cards I got done for Kristina Werner's January- A Year in cards class over at Two Peas in a Bucket. This is my first time participating but I thought it looked like fun and a chance at winning a shopping gc is always a good thing... especially since all the new CHA goodies will start hitting the shelves soon. ;)
The theme is 'love cards' and I followed all three of her sketches pretty closely though I couldn't resist adding in some of my beloved character stamps... hey, it's what I do! :)
So let's see... what else do I have to share... oh yea, be sure to check out the ATS blog before Sunday night as they are doing previews of all the new February releases, including Sweet November Stamps, with chances to win entire collections. Ya gotta love that!
And you still have until tonight to get your name entered into my Sweet November candies as Mr Random Generator and I will be picking winners and announcing them in tomorrow's post. :)
Okey dokey, off to work I go. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

LOOK! Up in the sky...
it's a bird... it's a plane... no it's the AMAZING DUO!
LOL! Welcome to our final day of sneak peeks for the February release at Club Anya and Friends. We've got a brand new set of stamps that are going to BAM! POW! knock your socks off! Ok, ok I promise I'm done with the comic book sound effects. ;)
I like to call these two Super Ian and Wonder Anya and their set also comes with some fun words like the ones I used here. Not only that but they are another new size of TGF stamp... not quite as small as the girls from the Spa set or Signature set but definitely not as big as a regular Anya or Ian. But that doesn't stop these two from making the world a safer place for stampers everywhere LOL!
So if you would like to give these SUPER cuties a new home be sure to check out the Greeting Farm shop on Monday the 1st, 'cause that's when they, along with Easter Anya and Soldier Ian will all become available for purchase. :)
Ok, it's time for me ZOOooooOOOoooM! outta here! (sorry couldn't help myself LOL)

Hippity hoppity Easter is on its way
Is it too early to say that?
You won't think so when you see who's re-joining the Farm this Monday... ;)
That's right, today we are previewing the brand new RUBBER Easter Anya over at Club Anya and I totally adore her... I think it must be those curly pig tails. :)
I didn't become a 'friend of the farm' until after this little cutie had already come and gone as a limited edition digital stamp last year and I was always totally bummed that I might never add her to my collection. But after dropping many not-so-subtle hints and much begging and pleading I was thrilled to see Marie grant mine, and I'm sure many others, wish for Easter to be brought back! Give me a woot, woot!
And even though I've warmed up a bit to digital stamps, an actual rubber stamp will always be my true love so that makes this Easter Anya even sweeter to me. Sigh... I'm just a happy, happy girl now. :)
I've also added a little butterfly to my card today so that I can enter it into this week's Quixotic Challenge to use, well, butterflies. :)
Alrighty, that's it from me today... be sure to head on over to Club Anya to see all the Easter sweetness my fellow CADT have created, it will make you long for spring!
Toodles!

Spirit and heart
Hiya sweeties!
I'm gonna be super quick today as I've got a lot to do but I just had to share with you all the return of Soldier Ian!
Yep, I missed out on this little guy back when he was part of a larger set that has been retired so I was thrilled to see Marie bring him back as a single... yeah! Soldier Ian will be available at The Greeting Farm along with the rest of the February release on Monday, which isn't too far off now. :)
In the meantime you can also check out the Club Anya blog to see more fantastic examples of Soldier Ian in all his honor and glory as he is representing my Wild Card Wednesday challenge today which is to use metal on a card. I had these 'old-as-the-hills' poetry dog tags in my stash and I just had to pair them up with Ian, though your cards can use any number of metal embellies that are out there... brads, eyelets, charms, pins, you name it! I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!
Alrighty, gotta go now but I'll see you tomorrow with another TGF February sneak peek! :)

A little sparkle and shine
Oh happy day my friends!
I hope life is treating you fine this Tuesday morning. :)
Well we've made it to the fourth and final day of sneak peek candy for the February Sweet November release over at All That Scraps. And not that I would say we've saved the best for last (as I love them all equally) but if you asked miss Sparkle Thistleweed here she would tell you exactly how fabulous she is! Yep, this little Fairy Sweet is an unapologetic girly girl who loves all things pink and pretty, glittery and gorgeous. Sparkle has enough sass and spirit to give the biggest ogre a run for his money... and then probably a make-over too... LOL! ;)
Wanna see more of her girly goodness? Then check out Traci's and Amy's blogs and I promise you will be dazzled! :)
Ok, time for the candy run down...

How about some candied Ginger?
Gooooood morning!
Can you believe it's the last week of January already? I don't know about you but I've got quite the list of things I need to get done before the 1st and right now I'm wishing that a few more days could be tacked onto the end of the month, LOL! But enough of my wishful thinking... time for me to get to the fun stuff for the day!
So you might remember catching a sneaky sneak peek of this little lady a few days ago and now here we are, officially introducing you to Ginger Fairy. Ginger is a bit more 'grown-up' looking than her fellow Sweet November friends and she is imbued with a sense of tranquility and peace that has a calming effect on anyone who happens by her. So if you've had a frazzled day, Ginger is the fairy you would want to hang out with for awhile, she'll have you feeling better in no time. :)
Want to see more lovely Ginger inspiration? Then check out Traci's and Amy's blogs... they'll have you oohing and aahing with all their magical loveliness. :)
So Ginger will be flitting onto the scene with the rest of the February release over at All That Scraps on the 1st but this is your chance to win her before you can buy her... plus get some extra goodies to play with too. Check it out...

This candy is fruit flavored
Hello and welcome to day two of our Sweet November sneak peeks and candy! :)
Today I've got a treat for you that looks good enough to eat, but not so fast! That yummy bunch of grapes is fluttering right off the vine and into the sky... she's the fruit of the month Grape Fairy! Grape is super sweet and occasionally slightly sour, but all in all a true delight. She is the first in a series of fruit fairies that you will be seeing more of in the months ahead so I hope you like this addition to the land of Sweet November.
And did you catch that sentiment? Yep, it comes with her! Once again you get a fun little bonus stamp to go along with the main image... how cool is that? And really, who doesn't like a good pun? ;)
Want to see more delicious projects featuring Grape fairy? Then be sure to take a look-see at Traci's and Amy's blogs too!
Alrighty, time for the candy... wanna see it?

time for another Cupcake Inspiration challenge!
Sorry I have to squeeze this post in between all the candy fun, but this week's CIC challenge is a total blast and deserved its own time to shine. :)
If you've been looking for some motivation to make that perfect boy card just check out the cool inspiration Rachel has found . Don'tcha just love that cutie robot? It was the perfect excuse to pull out this 'build-a-bot' stamp set that I've had for months yet had left totally unloved... tsk, tsk.
Once I put him together I thought he needed a friend and Space Ian was the perfect choice. They make quite the pair if I do say so myself! :)

Welcome to another weekend... I can't think of a better way to kick it off than with some brand new Sweet November candy!
This is an exciting release for me because the Sweet November family is growing beyond just Fairy Sweets (no worries though... they aren't going anywhere), we're just expanding to include all the magical little beings that have been fluttering around in this crazy head of mine. ;)
So the first new sweetie I would like to introduce you all to is Darby the sprite... oh and we can't forget her BFF Bumbles. Darby may not have wings like her fairy neighbors but she doesn't let that slow her down one bit! She's a spunky little sprite with a sunny disposition and a kind and caring heart. All the little critters love to play with Darby. :)
That is why each Darby stamp comes with a friend as well... like a fun little bonus! This time around she is joined by Bumbles the bumble bee... isn't he just adorable?
To see a couple more sneak peeks of Darby and Bumbles head on over to Traci's and Amy's blogs!
So if you think you would like to make Darby and Bumbles your new BFFs then this is your chance to win them before you can buy them on Monday the 1st at All That Scraps. And as always there are some other fun goodies to be had as well, let me share what the winner will be receiving...
This candy includes one Darby and Bumbles rubber stamp set, six 6x6 sheets of double sided October Afternoon Hometown paper, a bottle of yellow Stickles, Prima flowers and e.line pearls and gems, Making Memories decorative pins, misc. ribbons and buttons, four card blanks, four envelopes... and my card too.
All you have to do for a chance to win is leave a post on this entry... easy peasy! And if you can link it up on your blog that's great too but not a requirement. :)
The candy will stay open until next Saturday night and I will post winners on Sunday the 31st.
Good luck! :)

Sweet November spotlight on Amy Gould
Good morning friends!
Welcome to another day of Sweet November goodness. And if you haven't guessed yet... today's cards are a bit of a sneaky sneak peek of one of the stamps coming out in the February release, but this new winged friend will have her day soon enough. Right now we are shining the spotlight on a wonderful gal who has been a huge supporter of Sweet November Stamps from practically before it was even begun! :)
Please give a warm welcome to February's Guest Gal, Amy Gould!
Amy's style has a whimsy and charm that makes me smile every time I visit her blog. She has a great sense of color and that combined with the clean lines of her card layouts really let her beautifully colored images be the star of the show. :)
Not only that but she has a creative, outside the box way of using her stamps in cool and unexpected ways... like some pretty amazing jewelry that I just adore, amongst other things!
Now let's see how Amy answered the Sweet November quiz... :)
1. What color do you feel represents your personality and why?
I would probably have to say purple as I think there is a little bit of mystery in it, just on the edges of the shadows and I am quite shy until I get to know people. I would rather be behind the scenes than centre stage.
2. Is your style of dress/home decor similar to your style of card making?
It would be if I had the choice but sadly at the moment I am renting so can not change too much. When I was still living at my parents I re did my bedroom a few times and I like quirky little things and art on the walls to inspire me.
3. What one thing always puts you in a good mood?
Music. I know that it can also help you cry if you need to but there are so many songs that bring back good memories and I only need to hear the first bar and I want to dance no matter what mood I am in.
4. If you could visit any time in history when would it be?
Ooooh good question... I would love to have been around in Victorian times as long as I wasn't in a poor house that is! I love the look of the clothes.
5. If you were a mythical creature ie. fairy, elf, mermaid, troll, etc., what kind would you be and why?
I would have to be a fairy. I would love to be able to fly and to be all sparkly (as we all know every fairy sparkles).
Bonus question
6. If you are a fellow Gleek, which character from McKinley High do you most identify with?
Now this is a tough one... I think it would have to be Emma Pillsbury. For those of you who don't know, she is a teacher at the school who loves the guy who teaches Glee club. I think Schuester is brilliant just like she does and am a bit quirky (though I hope not to her extreme) and like I said before I am happier in the background than centre stage.
Fabulous answers Amy!
Now it's time to share how Amy's gorgeous card inspired mine today. I really liked the monochromatic background that she used behind Ginger... there is a bit of pattern to it but not enough to detract from her sweet fairy. So I decided to break out the Bug and emboss my cardstock background, it also qualifies me for this week's Flutter By embossing challenge so I'll be entering into that as well. I also loved how she used the sentiment box as a place for Ginger to rest on so I just had to do the same. There was every intention of stopping there to keep it a clean, crisp design but I couldn't resist the pull of my flowers and fussing things up a bit... I swear I tried though, LOL! :)
Now I would love for you to head on over to Amy's blog and see what she's been working her magic on lately!
Thanks for stopping by today and be sure to check back tomorrow for the first of four Sweet November sneak peek/candy give-aways. See ya then! :)
Supply list:
cardstock- Cardstock Warehouse and PTI
paper- Sweetwater (pink), K&Co (purple floral), Basic Grey (brown)

Sweet November spotlight on Traci Porter
Hello, hello!
As we get closer to this weekend's Sweet November February release sneak peeks (and candy) I wanted to kick things off with a couple fun posts featuring my Sweet November gals. :)
Today I'm shining the spotlight on a very special gal. She has been a huge influence on me and where I am today and I think she wields Copics like magic wands, her skills are just that awe inspiring. Please give a warm welcome to Traci Porter!
Traci's polished style and creative stamping, ie. altering, are what first drew me to her blog and I still look forward to seeing what new creations she will delight me with every time she posts. Just check out her mini masterpiece featuring Tangle Goblinshimmer... doesn't it transport you to an early summer afternoon with the wildflowers blooming and a bit of magic dancing in the breeze? I love it! :)
Now I've also come up with a crazy little questionnaire for my gals to answer just because these are always fun to read and here's what Traci had to share with us...
1. What color do you feel represents your personality and why?
This one is really hard, I want to say orange because it's a bit of an odd duck and I think it takes a special personality to appreciate it! But maybe brown, because it kind of seems to me to be a responsible, supportive color but is still NOT traditional like black...
2. Is your style of dress/home decor similar to your style of card making?
Other than a love of color in all these things, probably not.
3. What one thing always puts you in a good mood?
A new episode of Project Runway!
4. If you could visit any time in history when would it be?
Probably Elizabethan England- I'd love to look at the clothing up close!
5. If you were a mythical creature ie. fairy, elf, mermaid, troll etc., what kind would you be and why?
Years ago my very best friend and I were having this conversation and she says (and I have to admit she was right) that I would be Dwarven. I am short, round, kind of grumpy a lot, and I love to create things with my hands!
Bonus question
6. If you are a fellow Gleek, which character from McKinley High do you most identify with?
I don't know that there is a character that I identify strongly with, but I want to be BFF's with Kurt!
Ahhh ya gotta love it! :)
So now is the time when I share how Traci's card inspired me today... I followed the same basic layout design, just flip-flopping the side the fairy flutters on. I also really liked how she framed the sentiment and had Tangle interact with it so I had to have Buttercup do the same. :)
I'm just so pleased with how this card turned out and I have Traci to thank for it!
Please be sure to head on over to Traci's blog today and show her some love! Then come back here tomorrow when the spotlight will be shining on my very special February guest gal, Amy Gould!
Later gators! :)

Sweet treats
Well hello, hello to all you lovely ladies!
Here we are at the halfway mark for the week and I hope all is going well in your corner of the world. I'm still plugging away at my to-do list but nothing too overwhelming... yet... ;)
Today over at the Club Anya & Friends blog Lysa has a Wild Card Wednesday challenge that I found to be a fun change up from my usual cards. She wants everyone to create some cute Valentine's treat holders!
The one I came up with is super simple, just cut a nice weight double sided paper to a 5"x12" strip. Then I scored fold lines at 4 1/2", 6" and 10 1/2" to create a little tent for my bag of candy to rest in. Once I folded everything I just punched a half circle out of the top so the tissue paper could come up through it and secure the candy in place.
Now I realize that using the Forest Friends squirrels doesn't really qualify as being part of the Anya and friends crew but this little scene popped into my head as I was flipping through my stamps so I just had to go with it. I altered them a bit by wiping away the acorn then replacing it with the faux Hershey Kiss I made. Can you tell I was having fun with this? ;)
Now I hope you can make some time in the next couple days to play along too!
Alrighty, time for work. Check ya later! :)
Supply list:
cardstock- Bazzill, PTI
paper- K&Co (Ka-Zoo)
stamp- The Greeting Farm (Forest Friends)
ink- Memento tuxedo black, Colorbox dark brown chalk ink
Martha Stewart border punch
ribbon
aluminum foil
tissue paper
Copic multiliner 0.8, 0.3, 0.1 pens
Copic markers:
squirrel 1- W00, W1, W3, W5, R00, R01
squirrel 2- E41, E42, E43, E44, R01
squirrel 3- E50, E30, E31, E33, R01, R02
grass- YG13, YG17
sky- B0000, B000

Hey
Good morning!
I really looked at the calendar yesterday and realized that this month is almost over already... holy cow, when did that happen?!
This means that I've only got a couple weeks before my cards are due for Gabby's Miss Anya/My Guy Ian card swap over at Splitcoast Stampers... yikes! So I got down to business and got all four of my Ian cards done, whew! So this is what I came up with for the swap.
I used one of the My Guy rubber stamps but opened his eyes up using digi Autumn Ian's eyes and the technique I shared over at Club Anya. I don't do a whole ton of guy cards but I have a lot of fun with them when I do and this one was no exception... though I may have gone a bit crazy with the distressed edge stamp... LOL! :)
Still, I like it and I hope that whoever gets them likes them too. :)
Now I've got to get my Miss Anya ones done... there are a lot more choices with them so hopefully I can narrow things down and get busy. Wish me luck!
Ok, time to get ready for work.

Smilie eyes make me happy
Ahh, Monday... back to the old grindstone I guess.
It's cold, gray and wet here... I am SO ready for spring to come, I need sunshine!
Oh well, at least with the weather like it is I'm still in the mood to make some winter-ish cards... like little Sweater Ian here. Isn't he adorable with those smilie eyes? I'm still campaigning that he and Sweater Anya both see rubber some day... fingers crossed! :)
So I don't know if it's because I come from a scrapbooking background or if it's just my own crazy paper crafting obsession but this week before the CHA (Craft and Hobby Association) show always gets me excited for sneak peeks of all the new papers and goodies. I've got my favorite companies and am anxious to see what they have in store for us... I find it very inspiring! Anyone else out there feel the same? So far some faves I've spotted are the Garden Variety line from Cosmo Cricket and Quite Contrary from My Mind's Eye. They both look super fun to create with. :)
I'm still waiting to see what October Afternoon and Basic Grey have in store but they always seem to play things close to the vest until the show actually starts. Have I mentioned before that patience isn't one of my strong suits? Ah well, it's not long now... ;)
Ok, off to get ready for the day... have a good one!

Totally twitterpated
Goooood morning!
It's Sunday again and you know what that means... time for another fantastic Cupcake Inspired Challenge! :)
This week the colors of the inspiration photo totally set the tone for the type of card I created, especially when the My Mind's Eye Be Loved papers that Rachel sent were a perfect match. Well technically what I used are the backs or "B-sides" of the papers but that's why I love double sided paper... you get twice the options (and sometimes the B-sides are even cuter in my opinion...). ;)
Anywho... with the soft peaches and cream look I knew I wanted to do another Valentine's card and I also knew just who I wanted to bring back out of the retirement folder in time for the big day. Some of you may remember Miles and Maisy from my Sprout week back in September. I still love the idea of a 'couple' image so these two are strolling back on the scene for one more day in the spotlight. Awwwww, young love...
And of course I just had to add my 'go-to' embellishments... pearls and flowers into the mix. This time I had some yummy felt flowers (again from Rachel) as well as my trusty Primas. I even used the teeny tiny pearls again to add little earrings to Maisy... cuteness!
Oh, and I've gotten quite a few comments on how I add pearl and flower sprays. Now I don't know any real tricks to it but one thing I'm always mindful of is keeping whatever I'm using to an odd number. It's an old design trick that applies to multiple applications but holds true for card and page embellishing too. Our eyes just naturally find odd numbers more pleasing and more interesting to look at that even numbers of things. Strange but true. So the next time you are adding bits and baubles to your card remember, if four is good, five is better... sadly the same rule does not apply to cookies though... ;)
Alrighty, have a lovely day and be sure to check out what the rest of the sweeties have created:
~Colleen, ~Michelle, ~Rachel, ~Teresa
and I hope to see you play along this week too!
