Ribbons and lace

Zip! Zoom! Whoa... did you see that?
It was me flying around at light speed on my new fiber optic connection... sayonara dial-up, I won't miss you! LOL! Seriously, I am in internet heaven right now. ;)

It's Thursday and that means there is a brand new challenge over on the
Tickled Pink challenge blog. This week we want you to use ribbons and/or lace on your creations. I think that is a pretty easy one considering most card makers I know have at least a bit of ribbon in their crafty stash. :)
I decided to be really adventurous and mix three different kinds of ribbon on my card... crochet lace, crinkled ribbon and some satin. I went with the digi version of Victorian Steampunk Evie so that I could blow her up to 'big head' size... shhhh, don't tell the other girls but I think Evie may just be my fave Lolita out of the bunch. There is something about her sweet face that wins me over every time. I paired her up with some Girls' Paperie Vintage Whimsy scraps that I had hanging around my desk and even cut out one of the roses from the paper to add to her hair. I love how she looks like she could be posing for a cameo brooch... so pretty! :)

So if you would like a chance at winning this week's prize then why not play along? Don't forget that your card must feature a Tickled Pink stamp in order to qualify for the prize... these include: Lil Lolitas and Lads, Pinkettes, Pink Pets and Cherries. All of which can be found in the Tickled Pink store.

Have fun and good luck! Supply list:

Hi Amy. This is so beautiful! I love how you have colored her and how you have all your different ribbons. Super super beautiful. Love the little bobbles by the bow too. I am so happy for you on your super sonic internet. :O) I could not imagine having dial-up anymore. As it is, sometime I get irritated with the internet that I have. lol... Have a wonderful day. Hugs, Lisa
