Welcome to the Cards that Care blog hop! Cards That Care is run by Jennifer McGuire and Vera Wirianta Yates. The goal for this card drive is to collect as many cards as we can for the elderly who live in nursing homes. And in return for your support and generosity, there are many different prizes and chances to win being offered to all who participate in the drive as well. You can find all of the details for the card drive HERE.
Now, to help promote the card drive, we're hosting a blog hop this weekend. If you have arrived here from Kelly's blog then you are on the right track. If not, then you can head over Vera's blog for a complete list of links.
For my card today, I thought it would be fun to ink up this fabulous new Santa stamp from Sugar Nellie. Since Santa is all about caring and giving I thought it was quite an appropriate choice for the occasion. I paired him up with some of my fave Christmas papers released this year, the Season's Greetings line by Echo Park... just can't seem to stop using them, LOL! The kinda vintage/retro designs with the bright, fun colors worked perfectly with this jolly old elf. :)
So there are quite a few fabulous and generous sponsors and you have the whole weekend to complete the hop. Just make sure you leave your comments by Sunday, Nov. 6 midnight CST. We will pick the winners from comments left on the participants blogs so the more blogs that you leave comments on, the better your chances are of winning!
There are prizes from: Lawn Fawn, Hero Arts, Avocado Arts, Sweet Stamps Shop, The Crafts Meow, Monika Wright's I Love It All, May Arts, Penny Black, and Mami Doodles.
Your next stop to head on over to is Jenny Suchin's blog... have fun and enjoy hopping for the cause! :)

ReplyDeleteThis Santa image is so fun. I love all the little details.
ReplyDeleteI think this card drive is a good thing. Since my grandmother moved to a retirement home I am thinking about the people living there. Some of them cannot leave the home. So, it is very good when they get a card that shows that they are not forgotten. I think they will love them!
My granny loves sending cards to her friends and family. But she is very old and cannot go to a shop to buy cards. So, it's very easy for me to come up with a present for her birthday or Christmas or Santa Clause or whatever: Just some cards. I wish I had more time to make more cards so I could give them to other inhabitants of her home who cannot go out anymore!
what a cute santa, love the card
