Hi guys!
I'm on the run again but I want to quickly share the card that I made for this week's Flutter By challenge. The challenge is to use three or more layers of paper on your card and that didn't seem to hard at all. Especially since I had been wanting to cut into the Farm Girl paper pad from October Afternoon for quite a while now. There is something about the Lucy stamps from CC Designs that have me using them with OA papers more times than not. This go round it is Butterfly Lucy coming out to play and I'm using this older stamp as a bit of a hint as to what is coming out at ATS in a few days. ;)
Ok friends, hope your day is great and I'll catch ya later!

Happy Easter...
Hello, hello!
The visit to the salon went really well yesterday and I got a new cut that I love. It's shorter than I've ever gone before but I feel like a brand new me. :)
So once again it is review preview day over on the ATS blog and today we are revisiting the new Sweet November Easter Pixies. I chose Hershel to ink up again because he looked like he could use a sunny day to hunt for some Easter eggs. I kept the card simple, it's not much more than paper and stickers but it didn't need much else for Hershel to have the best Easter Sunday ever. ;)
There is plenty more Hershel, Bonnie and Esther sweetness from my fellow ATS teamies so be sure to check out the All That Scraps blog today! And all of the new February stamps can be found right here in the ATS store.
Later gators!

Hello buttercup...
Hey there!
I'm so excited... I've got a long overdue appointment to get my hair cut this morning. It has gotten way too long and I'm ready for a good chop. I'm a little nervous though because I'm trying out a new salon and I'm hoping everything goes well. I'd really like to finally find a local place to get my hair cut at so I can schedule appointments more regularly. Wish me luck. :)
My card today is for the Farm Fresh Challenge over at The Greeting Farm. It's an easy one to use flowers and at first I was planning on inking up an Anya but when I pulled out the binder and saw the Beans first, I realized that I hadn't used Glisten Bean yet. So my plan shifted a bit and instead of the October Afternoon papers that I originally had in mind Bella Blvd seemed to be a better fit. The floral print is colorful and playful just like Glisten with her bouncing curls and cute grin. Then just for good measure I had to throw a couple more flowers on there. ;)
Alrighty, I've got a couple things to do before heading to town so it's time for me to sign off. TTYL!
Supply list:
cardstock- Bazzill and Copic X-Press It

Happy Day...
Good morning!
Ah, another busy week ahead. Not only that but we are wrapping up the month of February already... crazy! Though I have to say that the snow has been melting more and more so it really is beginning to feel like spring is right around the corner. Bring it on, LOL! :)
Anywho... today's card was a quickie that I put together using up some more of the Dear Lizzy die cuts that are currently living on my desk. I liked the bouquet of funky flowers so I printed out the adorable Fairy Wishes Wryn digi from Tiddly Inks to prance among them. After that all I had to do was add a sprinkling of gems and another die cut and this one was done. Like I said, quickie. ;)
Well, I've got to scoot my boot. I'll talk at'cha in 24!
Supply list:
cardstock- Bazzill and Copic X-Press It

Hugs...
Olo!
It didn't take me long to dig in to my JoAnn's haul and have some fun with these pretty, new papers. I really couldn't wait as those colors were really speaking to me... helloooo happy orange polka dots! ;)
All I had to do was figure out which stamp to pair with it. Fairy Magic was sitting on my desk with her 'come hither' eyes and there was no doubt that I had my character for this card. So I colored her up to match the papers and then checked out this month's sketch challenge over on the SOG blog. Because the paper I was using already had that great sentiment banner printed right on it (just on the wrong side) I took some liberties with the sketch and shifted the layout to the left side of the card to make it work. Then I remembered that this month's Oozak challenge is Anything Goes plus your favorite colors. And since that is exactly what I used I'm entering this into their challenge as well. :)
Okey dokey, time to figure out what to do with myself today. I'm sure at least some of my time will be spent getting crafty... hope the same goes for you too!

Hi...
Hey there!
Well I had a wonderful time shopping with my mom yesterday. We went to JoAnn's and at first I was convinced that I would be leaving empty handed. There was no sign of any new Basic Grey anywhere near the scrapbook aisles. We were getting ready to leave when Mom suggested we look over on the other side of the check out counters and that is when I totally scored! They didn't have the new Basic Grey Hey There papers yet but they did have the Fact and Fiction range and the best part... it was all 50% off! So I splurged and got a bit more than just the paper pads and I can't wait to dive into it all and play. :)
But because it was a long day of shopping, I didn't leave myself any time to create a new card to share today. That is why I'm posting a non-coloring card that I did a while ago. It's a fave color combo of mine with all of the citrus orange, yellow and green with just a touch of grey thrown into the mix. Quick and simple, letting the paper do all of the work... including the sentiment. It doesn't get much easier than that!
Oh, and before I head off to work... yesterday there was some questions about whether I had any videos made on how I masked stamped images so I'm linking up to two that I did which you can see here and here if interested.
Later gators!

It's gonna be okay...
TGIF homies!
I'm taking the day and heading to 'the big city' for a shopping trip with my mom. It should be fun to get out of town even if most of it is for grocery shopping. I do plan on making a side trip to JoAnn's to check it out, though most likely it will be the usual sad selection. It's too bad that the new Hobby Lobby won't be open for another couple of weeks... I guess that just means I'll have to plan another trip after the grand opening.
So I pulled a complete 180 on my card today. For the first time in years I tried my hand at creating a true single layer card. There's no paper, no ribbon, no embellishments... nothing but stamping, masking and coloring. What a fun challenge that turned out to be! I even broke out the Tim Holtz Distress Stains for the first time to splash color in the brick background so it would look like Creeper Thursday had been doing a bit of graffiti artwork. ;)
And because Thursday is a classic Creeper I've decided to enter this card into the current Retro Fresh Challenge over at The Greeting Farm. It's to use hearts on a card so I added one to her shirt and another to the 'paint' on the wall.
Ok, time for me to get ready to hit the road. Have fun today, I sure plan to!
Supply list:
cardstock- Papertrey Ink
stamps- The Greeting Farm (Creeper Thursday), Prima (brick background), My Favorite Things (sentiment), KI Memories (hearts)

Just because...
Good morning!
This card was super quick to put together and yet it is probably one of my recent personal faves. There is a light breeziness about it that appeals to me and my current longing for spring. I pulled out one of the super adorable pixies by Christy Croll that are sold by Stamping Bella and it was like saying hello to an old friend. As much as I love the new Wryn and friends characters at Tiddly Inks, Petunia Pixie here has me longing for some new pixies to flutter on the scene... especially with the addition of clear stamp sets at Tiddly Inks. So I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that my wish may come true sometime soon. :)
I've been using the heck out of that cloud paper from October Afternoon recently but I make no apologies for that, LOL! This time I paired it up with a bit of My Mind's Eye and a whole lot of Dear Lizzy 5th & Frolic die cuts. That branch in particular was quite the find considering Petunia needed a place for her nest to call home. ;)
Alrighty, I'm audi... have a great one!

Best wishes...
Hi guys!
It's review preview time at the All That Scraps blog once again. The card I made features the new Fan image from Mashi's Muffins and she is such a giggly, sweet, little cutie. I wanted to find something really perfect to set the scene for this one and at first I was at a bit of a loss. So I started digging around but wasn't finding anything inspiring. I was about to give up and just make do when I spotted a small stack of old paper pack cover sheets under my desk. I pulled them out and near the bottom of the pile was this Konnichiwa sheet covered with all these perfect vignettes for Miss Fan. It had everything I was looking for and there was the added bonus of getting another sheet of paper gone... yea!
Be sure to hop on over to the ATS blog for a fresh look at some of this month's new release stamps. And the February images can all be found right here for purchase. :)

Birthday girl...
Hello, hello!
I decided to go with a Gorjuss Girl for my card today. It's been a while and this crowned cutie was just begging for some ink. It seemed natural to use her for a birthday card because what girl wouldn't want a crown for her big day? Her hair color went a bit more dramatic than I was originally going for but there is no toning down this red head now, LOL! The papers are a random mix of scraps from my desk. It's always so satisfying when I feel successful at bringing different lines and manufacturers together... it's a total paper nerd moment. ;)
Ok, time for me to scoot.

Thinking...
Mornin'!
Here we are at the beginning of another work week. I know it's President's Day here in the States but there is no three day weekend for me. So while I'm getting myself ready for work I hope that some of you out there are getting the chance to get crafty and have fun today. :)
Ok, as for my card... I had forgotten that I printed off this digi image from A Day For Daisies weeks ago. But as I was shuffling things around on my desk I came across her and thought that Pearls in my Hair would be a nice change up. She originally has her right arm extended with birds perched on it but as my card design came together I ended up slicing it off so that she would be right up against the edge of the card with the blue sky paper taking over most of the space. Then I wanted the little collage of paper and goodies for balance and originally I was searching some drawers for a mini paper clip to hold the sentiment label on but instead I found that gold bird cut out and I knew that I had totally scored, LOL! I love how it pulls everything on the card together, plus the gold just looks pretty with all the pink. ;)
TTFN!

Today is your day...
Hey there!
I may have been overly ambitious with my wish for exciting Saturday night plans yesterday. I wanted to believe that I was completely over this flu but I think it was still sapping my energy at the very least. Once I got home I almost took a nap right on the couch and I never do that! Needless to say there was no wild night to be had but I did catch up on the last season of Worst Cooks in America. That show sure makes me feel a lot less hopeless in the kitchen, LOL!
Alrighty, my card today is for the Farm Fresh Friday challenge over at The Greeting Farm. For this challenge they want us to use die cuts on our cards and projects. I really wanted to use this new little star die set so it seemed a good opportunity to make another boy card. I decided to ink up Wild Sprout Eric because I thought it looked like he was playing dress up with that super hero cape and that fit with the energy of the paper I had selected.
Well, that's all she wrote... talk to ya manana!
Supply list:
cardstock- Bazzill and Copic X-Press It

Best of friends...
Olo!
I don't have much going on today other than work. No exciting plans and know idea what I even want to do. You ever wake up to those kinds of days ahead of you? If we had a decent theater close I'd be tempted to go see a movie or something but I don't feel like making the 45 minute trip to town just for that. Hmmm... I hope something interesting presents itself before the day is through.
So apparently I'm on a roll with the toddler images because today's card features a Li'l Dawn stamp from Nellie Snellen. Of course I'm of the opinion that the bond between a girl and her cat is a very special thing so I had a lot of fun coloring this pair up. I'm usually partial to tuxedo cats but I wanted to try my hand at a calico pattern for this one. The rest of the card is made up of random scraps and bits from off my table so there are a few less things for me to put away once I get serious about cleaning off my desk again. :)
Ok folks... I hope your weekend is full of fun and sunshine.
Later gators!

You bring out the happy...
TGIF my crafty peeps!
I can't believe that we are already approaching another weekend. I suspect the days spent in bed are to blame for speeding things along but considering how lovely the weather is at the moment, I'll take it. We've been getting lots of sunshine recently and I've been watching the snow melt a bit more each day. Sure the nights are still below freezing but I'm hoping to take advantage of the nicer weather and get out for a while on Sunday.
Speaking of bright, sunshiny happiness... my card today is welcoming the warmer weather too. How else can you explain this sweet baby running around in nothing but her skivvies? ;)
She's actually part of a new Penny Black stamp set that came in the mail yesterday and I didn't hesitate to ink her up. Her crazy hair kinda reminds me of the bed head I wake up with in the mornings, LOL! The papers are also new from Studio Calico, I mixed some of my favorite prints from both the Snippets and Sundrifter lines. I gotta say, so far, these may just be some of my top fave papers from the winter CHA release. :)
Alrighty, time for me to scoot my boot.
Have a great one and I'll see ya in 24!

I've just got a quick minute to wish you all a very lovely Valentine's Day!
I altered this little Pure Innocence who was originally holding a key into a stylish Valentine cutie. All she needed was a heart to hold and the right papers to set the mood and this card practically put itself together. ;)

Celebrate good times...
Hello again!
By the power of Vicks VapoRub my voice has returned just in time for work. I'll still be packing plenty of cough drops just in case but all in all I feel ready to face the world again, LOL!
My card today is for the Farm Fresh Friday challenge over at The Greeting Farm. This week they want to see baker's twine and buttons on our cards. Anya Lifts is another one of those stamps that I've had stamped up and waiting... waiting... waiting. I don't know why it took me this long to get around to her but I'd like to think it was because Anya was holding out for some different papers to go with her. Enter the Midway paper pad from October Afternoon... I loved the explosion of color and energy and thought that it would work well for a birthday card. In the end I only used a single sheet from the paper pad and it got all cut up just to create the over sized sentiment but I think it's enough to set the mood I was hoping for.
Well, that is all I have to share today. Happy hump day and I hope the sun is shining wherever you may be. :)
Supply list:

Hey you...
Good morning!
Well, I'm still not 100% but compared to how I was feeling Saturday and Sunday I am doing much better. And lucky me, I still have today off to really get over this flu before heading back to work tomorrow.
I wasn't really planning on making anything yesterday but by the afternoon I was bored and tired of pinning or watching TV. I ended up going into the crafty room only thinking that I would clean and organize for a bit but when I came across this Kraftin' Kimmie fairy sitting on my desk I just had to start coloring her up for a card. I'd actually stamped up Talullahbelle a week or so ago because I realized she was the lone KK fairy that had yet to get on a card and it was time to rectify that situation. The timing is also just right for me to enter this card into the open Flutter By challenge just under the wire. ;)
It feels good checking Talullahbelle off my list of stamps waiting for some love but I have to admit that now I'm kinda anxious to see some new KK fairies hit the scene. It's been a long time and I can't be the only one who thinks it would be great to see that line grow with some fun new characters. You know my fingers and toes are all crossed. :)
Okey dokey, take care my friends!

Forever and always...
Hi guys, sorry about my absence yesterday. I got the flu and it has been kicking my behind all weekend. I've been going to bed early and sleeping in late and the rest of the time I can't get motivated to do much but veg on the couch. :(
Not much has been getting done in the creativity department but, I've had this card made for the Double Take Tuesday challenge over at The Greeting Farm and I didn't want to miss the deadline. It's a color combo challenge to use pink, blue, and white and last week I got this fun Valentine range of paper goodies from Elle's Studio that just happened to be that exact combo. This was my first time using any of their products and I have to say that I really fell in love with it. The chalkboard looking pieces are my favorite which in turn inspired me to ink up Cheeky Geeky and make a sassy, kind of school looking, Valentine with her. Once I got rolling in that direction I also inked up those cute love potion beakers so that Geeky would look like a love struck science teacher. ;)
Alrighty, I'm not sure how much longer this flu is going to keep me down but I'm hoping that I'm on the tail end of it all. Guess I'll see ya when I see ya. :)

Hello friend...
TGIF my friends!
Did you enjoy all of the ATS previews this past week? There certainly is plenty there to get you thinking about spring. :)
I made this card for the CC Designs preview of Potted Lucy but didn't get around to posting it here until today. I wanted to make her bright and colorful just like the flower on her head so Doodlebug was a natural choice for my papers. I colored her hair up in a more vibrant orange than I normally use for hair because I wanted it to look like it was an extension of the blossom hat. For the rest of the scene I used the Four Seasons tree die to cut out some kraft cardstock and stamped it with a wood grain background. Once I had that made Lucy needed a couple of feathered friends to keep her company. All in all I think this is a happy card.
Well, I should really get myself together for the day.
I'll catch ya on the flip side!
Supply list:
cardstock- Bazzill and Copic X-Press It
paper- Doodlebug (Color Wheel), K&Co (green plaid)
stamps- CC Designs (Potted Lucy and Birdie Day set), Papertrey Ink (sentiment), Hero Arts (wood grain background)
ink- Memento tuxedo black and rich cocoa, Colorbox creamy brown
Doodlebug Color wheel stickers
CC Designs Four Seasons tree die

skin- E000, E00, E11, R00, R20
hair- Y35, Y38, YR04, YR18

birds- BG01, BG05, B06, R01, R02, Y35, Y38

I Found It...
Hi guys!
We are previewing a brand new line over at All That Scraps today! There are three new fairy images by Olga and Alexey and my card features the 'I Found It' image. It looks like this winged cutie has just found herself a fun Easter surprise. I knew right away that I wanted to deck this little fairy out in spring pastels and luckily I still had some scraps from this old Imaginisce paper line hanging around. So I matched my Copics to the papers as best I could and let the whimsical prints do the rest of the work bringing the whole card together.
Now, if you go check out the ATS blog you will find some fabulous inspiration using these new stamps from my team mates and a chance to win these new cuties too. Oh, and don't forget that all of the new February stamps will be available to purchase tonight in the ATS store. :)
Later gators!

Bonnie bunny Easter candy...
It's
time to take another fun filled trip to Sweet November Land and spring
is always a magical time to trek back there. I hear the Pixie's are
getting ready to celebrate the Easter holiday so let's head on over to
the meadows they call home and see if we can't get our hands on some
amazing Easter candy. :)
After munching on all of that delicious chocolate yesterday it's probably best that we walk it off for a bit. Luckily we've got a beautiful garden path to ramble on that is surrounded by lush spring flowers in full bloom. Tulips, daffodils, crocus, and lily of the valley spread out as far as the eye can see in a riot of color. Skipping toward us is a wee pixie with a pair of bunny ears bobbing on her head. With a giggle and a wave she introduces herself as Bonnie and this is her Easter garden that we are enjoying. She is quick to show off her prize blooms and gather small bouquets for each and every one of us so that we can enjoy their beauty even after we leave this magical place. And for one lucky crafter there is some special candy to be had as well... check it out...
The Easter Pixie Bonnie candy kit includes; one Sweet November Easter Pixie Bonnie rubber stamp set, nine 6x6 sheets of Making Memories Boho Chic paper, Prima flowers and Kaiser Craft pearls, ribbon, twine, buttons, punched butterflies, paper doilies, four envelopes, four card blanks and my card.
All you have to do for a chance to win the candy is leave a comment on this post. If you link to the candy on your own blog that is great and much appreciated but not a requirement... I want everyone to be able to play along. And when I say everyone, I mean everyone. I will ship the candy anywhere in the world so everyone is encouraged to play! :)
The candy will stay open through Friday, February 8th and I will announce the winners on Saturday, February 9th.
Now it's time to tip toe through the tulips right on over to the Sweet November Gals' blogs! Nancy and Marion each have cards blossoming with creativity! :)
Instead of using random generator I will be printing out names and tossing them in a hat SO if you leave comments for the SN gals on their blogs, you will get an extra name in the hat for each one that you do... this will up your chances of winning the candy... fun, fun, fun!
And that's a wrap on the third and final sneak peek of the Sweet November February release. Be sure to check out the All That Scraps blog today for even more Easter Pixie peeks and another chance to win the new stamps!

Believe in the bunny... and candy...

Mmmm... does anyone else smell chocolate? There is definitely a deliciously sweet scent in the air and if we follow our noses I bet we will find Pixie Hershel. Ah, there he is, over by the large oak tree that he works inside of creating all sorts of Easter confections. Today he is busy carving milk chocolate Easter bunnies and each one is a unique little masterpiece, almost too cute to eat. Almost. It is hard to resist Hershel's offer of a sample taste so who wants to share? I'll take the ears if someone wants the tail end. It's hard not to rave about this amazing chocolate and Hershel is quite pleased to hear that all of his hard work is bringing so much joy to everyone. And as an extra special treat he is also offering up some very special candy for one lucky crafter. Take a look...
The Easter Pixie Hershel candy kit includes; one Sweet November Easter Pixie Hershel rubber stamp set, nine 6x6 sheets of Making Memories Sydney paper, Prima flowers and Kaiser Craft pearls, ribbon, twine, buttons, punched butterflies, wood veneer tweets, four envelopes, four card blanks and my card.
