Love you...

Hello!

Can you believe it is June 1st already? That means today is all about a brand new Farm Fresh Challenge at The Greeting Farm! As you know, a new challenge is issued at the beginning of every month over on the TGF blog and this time around it is...  'All About The Boys'. With Father's Day being celebrated in a couple weeks this theme is the perfect fit. But you don't have to be limited to Father's Day, you can ink up or print out any of the handsome Ian stamps from the TGF store and create any kind of masculine project that your heart desires! Playing along just might win you a $50 gift certificate!

For my card I printed out the cute RN Ian digi and stamped a heart, from the I Love Mom set, onto his clip board. By adding that little touch I knew it would tie in perfectly to this old eye chart sentiment stamp that I've had for ages. Now it looks like Ian is giving a very special exam to his sweetheart. ;)

Alrighty friends, have fun with this one. I can't wait to see what you create!

What's up...

Hey there!

I'm still working my way through all of the cards I made for the Mini release... can you tell I'm a BIG fan of these little cuties? Today I'm back to the Mega Mini Amazing set and this time I've paired Anya up with the hot air balloon from the retired Fly Away set. Then I just added both to a card base I made using the blue skies cover plates from PTI to really set the scene. I think Anya must be waiting for her turn to take a ride up into the clouds. :)

Have a good one everybody!

An amazing day...

Good morning!

Since Friday's card featured the cute kitty from the Mini Remix Happy set I figured it was only fitting to share this card using the funny little puppy and mini Anya. I think they are enjoying the long weekend with a nice walk and maybe even a stop at an outdoor cafe for brunch. :)

Smile in a cup...

TGIF!

Today I've got one last card using the Mini Remix Brewtiful set and I borrowed the kitty from the Mini Remix Happy set so that Anya wouldn't be lonely. Because this little lady is getting her caffeine fix out of a regular mug rather than a to-go cup I figured she needed a comfortable setting to relax in. So I grabbed the Vogue Abode set from Paper Smooches and stamped up a mid-century modern living room for Anya to call home. It looks like she is just about to grab one of those books off the shelf and settle in for a comfy cozy morning. :)

Alrighty friends, have a safe yet fun filled Memorial Day weekend!

You are pawesome...

Good morning!

The deadline for the 'anything odd' Facebook challenge really snuck up on me but I was able to whip together a CAS card for it just in the nick of time. I've had the Tia and Fluffy digi printed out for a while and I figured this was the perfect time to get them colored and on a card. I returned to my tried and true background put together using different scraps of pattern paper which also sped up the card making process. I love the interaction between these two sweet characters 'cause it reminds me of afternoons sitting outside with my own kitties coming and saying hello.  :)

Ok then, time for me to get ready for the day. Have a good one!
Supply list:
cardstock- Papertrey Ink and Copic X-Press It
paper- October Afternoon (Summertime), Doodlebug (grass), KI Memories (purple stripe)

Sunshine and rainbows...

Hi there friends!

I decided to revisit the Magical Friends set for my card today. With the recent release of the three little supplement sets of magical unicorns and pegasus the one lonely pony in the Magical Friends set was seeming kinda left out. So I decided to make a tiny alteration and draw in her very own unicorn horn, which was super easy! Now she's not feeling left out from all the magical fun her friends have been having. As I colored her and made my card background using the new Sunshine and Rainbows goodies from Papertrey Ink, I was having flashbacks to my 80's childhood and all of the Lisa Frank folders and Trapper Keepers that got me through grade school. There's nothing like some bright rainbow colors to make you smile.  :)

Have a good one!
Supply list:
cardstock- Papertrey Ink and Copic X-Press It
watercolor paper
stamps- The Greeting Farm (Magical Friends set), Papertrey Ink (sentiment)

Sugar and Spice...

Olo!

So I couldn't resist inking up another adorable mini from the Mini Remix Brewtiful set for my card today. I had this piece of paper from the Doodlebug Under the Sea collection with the sugar and spice sentiment already on it so I let that inspire the entire card. Looking at this little Anya I figured that a Cinnamon Dulce frappuccino would be her drink of choice so that easily hits both the sugar, spice and everything nice. As happy as she looks you know that caffeine has started to do its job, LOL! ;)

Later gators!

Happy day...

Good morning!

I'm still having fun with the new Greeting Farm minis and today I've inked up a pair of darling girls from the Mini Remix Happy set. I envisioned them taking a stroll through Central Park in the middle of a fun day shopping and seeing the sights of the Big Apple. To get the background that I needed I grabbed an old build-a-city type stamp set that I got as part of a Studio Calico kit ages ago. I think the two sets came together quite nicely to create the scene I envisioned. :)

Ok, time to get ready for work. Have a great week everybody!
Supply list:

These minis have flair...

Hi there!

Today is the official release day of the three new mini Anya sets over at The Greeting Farm! Mini Remix Brewtiful, Mini Remix Happy and Mega Mini Amazing are SO much fun to create with. If you didn't pick these cuties up during the pre-sale then I highly recommend jumping over to the store and adding a set or two to your cart. :)
Once again, I have inked up a few of the little lovelies from the Mega Mini Amazing set but this time I went outside my card comfort zone and made some flair badges instead. I've had this hand held badge maker for years and these new stamps inspired me to dust it off and have some fun. Not only did I ink up four of the girls but I also put a bunch of the accessory stamps to use as well for the backgrounds. The coloring was a bit tricky since you can't use good thick cardstock when making badges so I did my best on regular, thin computer paper.

Alrighty folks, be sure to check out the TGF blog for all sorts of inspiration from my fellow Farmers using all three of the new mini sets!
Supply list:
Badge-a-minute badge maker
stamps- The Greeting Farm (Mega Mini Amazing set and Glitter Bomb set)
ink- Memento tuxedo black and Studio Calico

Brewtiful...

TGIF!

I've got another sneak peek to share of the minis that are hitting the TGF store on Sunday. For this card I've used a bunch of the stamps from the Mini Remix Brewtiful set. I used the trio of coffee beans to stamp the ombre background for these two caffeinated cuties. I just adore Anya and Ian here with their little to-go cups. I imagine they've met up at a popular coffee house for their first date. And that great sentiment is also part of the set as well. It's a definite must have for any coffee loving crafters out there! :)

Ok then, see you back here Sunday for release day!

Friends and laughter...

Mornin' friends!

In case you missed the pre-order last month the three new mini Anya sets are going to be officially hitting the store this Sunday, May 22! For my card today I've paired a couple of cuties from the Mega-Mini Amazing set with one of the homes from the old My House set. The tiny size of these minis has really inspired me to look at all of the accessory or background stamps in my stash with new eyes. The scene building possibilities with these stamps seem positively endless! I kept this scene soft and simple with subtle coloring of the house and background, this allows these BFFs to still be the stars of the show. :)

Alrighty, see ya back here tomorrow with another mini preview card!

All my love...

Hi there!

With all the new stamps I've been inking up or printing out lately, I thought it would be a nice change of pace to show some love to an oldie but a goodie today. So I grabbed this beauty from the Miss Anya Hats Off set and paired her up with a cool sentiment coloring sheet from Papertrey Ink. I had debated between getting the coloring sheets or the same stamp set and I am so glad I went with the coloring sheets because I love playing around with the ombre effect on the lettering and scrolls. There will definitely be more of these showing up on my cards in the future. ;)

Well, I gotta get moving. Stay crafty my friends!

A Happy Hello...

Good morning!

Today I've got a Tiddly Inks card to share and I made it for the current 'anything goes' challenge. I super sized Forget Me Not Wryn and printed her out so that she filled most of the space on the front of the card. Instead of going with actual Forget Me Nots I decided to color her flowers up to look more like apple blossoms since we just had our annual Apple Blossom festival this past weekend. Since there was so much hair to play with I tried out a new-to-me Copic combo that I got from Lizzy, who is an amazing colorist, and I really love how it turned out. The whole card just seems to bring to mind a sunny, spring afternoon. :)

Ok, I'm outta here. Later gators!

Make a wish...

Good morning!

I've got a cute card to share today featuring the Super Secret Stamp Club stamp for May. She's a brand new Bean called Bless and I nearly squealed with delight when I first laid eyes on her. I mean seriously, could she be any cuter? She actually comes with a halo floating above her but since I was going more for a fairy look rather than angel I just snipped it away when I fussy cut her out. I found these papers in my scrap bag and they totally inspired her purple hair and pink dress combo. She kinda looks like a colorful little bud of a spring flower getting ready to burst into full bloom.

Alrighty folks, thanks for stopping by and I shall see you back here tomorrow.  :)
Supply list:
cardstock- Papertrey Ink and Copic X-Press It

This time around these two are grilling up a summer bar-b-que with award winning burgers for everyone! Enjoy today...

Hello, hello!

Are you ready for day two of the May Greeting Farm release previews? Today we have a small clear set to share for all you coffee lovers out there. Perk Up includes a cute to-go coffee cup as well as an adorable image for frappi fans like myself. You can use them as is like I did for my card today but the set also includes two sweet faces that can be added to each of the beverages, giving them a bit of attitude for more whimsical cards. Plus there are matching dies so no fussy cutting is required! I went with a super CAS design for my card today pairing the sentiment and coffee cup from the Perk Up set with an old coffee stain stamp that I've had in my stash for years. I really like how the stain contains everything and provides a frame for the cup and message yet still allows them be the star of the show.

There is plenty more Perk Up inspiration to be had over on the TGF blog and I promise you won't want to miss the fabulous creations my fellow Farmers have made. :)

So I grabbed this leopard print paper out of my scraps bag and let it be the inspiration for her outfit. And I'm sure whatever Anya has in those shopping bags is even more fabulous. ;)

Hello there, friend...

Hey there!

I've only got a minute this morning so I've got to make this post short and sweet. I whipped together this little card pretty quickly the other day using a sweet image from Mo's Digital Pencil called, Hi There. This pair of peeking cuties just makes me smile from ear to ear, probably because I have my own kitties who like to take over every seat in the house just like this. When it came time to add the sentiment I wanted to put it in a speech bubble and then when I went to put it on the card I thought it would be funny if I placed it so the cat was the one saying hello. It really doesn't take much to keep me amused, LOL! ;)

Ok, have a good one, I'm outta here!  :)
Supply list:
cardstock- Papertrey Ink and Copic X-Press It

Shine like the sun...

Good morning!

My card today is for the current SOG Facebook challenge which is to use Lady Bug Tia on a card. In fact, right now she is on special for only a buck in honor of the challenge. I decided to blow Tia up nice and big so that the cropped head shot would take up most of the card front. I like how it really pulls focus to her sweet expression and the relationship between her and the little ladybug she's holding. Then I found the perfect sentiment to really reflect the mood this pair of 'ladies' were projecting. Sure, it's a simple design with nothing fancy really going on but I had a blast coloring her and I'm really happy with how it all came together. :)

Ok, time for work... later gators!

A blessing...

TGIF!

Ok, I am reeeally squeaking this card in under the wire. It's Bellarific Friday and I didn't want to miss out on making a card for this week's washi tape or ribbon theme. So I inked up Anabelle Needs Your Address and used her on a card rather than an envelope. Then I grabbed two of my favorite ombre washi tapes to pull all my Copic colors from for Anabelle's shirt. It's a simple design but I'm always happy when I dust off the washi and actually get it on a card. ;)

Well I gotta run, thanks for stopping by and enjoy your weekend!
