Hello, hello!
Once again it is my turn to share over on the new Greeting Farm blog and I've got a card that proves the old adage, "The more the merrier" is so very true. Now I know that the Tiny Plans
stamp set is geared more towards decorating planners but these wee
little cuties caught my eye for another reason. Years ago I got this big
old apartment building stamp on clearance but I never had any stamps
small enough to live inside it. So it sat and sat, completely un-inked
and unloved, until the Tiny Plans
set came along. Once I saw these super small cuties I knew I had a
winner! Putting the scene together was simple, first I stamped the two
little gals who are outside the building and then masked them off. Next I
stamped the building, then masked around each window that I wanted to
add a girl into. In no time I had a full house and I was ready to color.
So even though you may think these stamps are too small to carry a card
design on their own, by pairing a bunch of them together in clever and
creative ways they can make a BIG impact! ;)

Enjoy your big day...
Hello my crafty friends!
It's my turn to share some inspiration on the 7 Kids Customers Create Facebook page and I chose to ink up the new Tea With Friends stamp set from Mama Elephant. I had to get my hands on this set as soon as I saw it because these sweet little bunnies totally remind me of Peter Rabbit with his mom. Right away I knew that I wanted to put together a scene of these two celebrating on the garden patio so I stamped and masked until I had the table all set and Peter perched on his chair. Then the fun really began as I colored in the patio and garden all around them. I probably should have made the grout between the stones a bit lighter but ya live and learn I guess. The rest of the scene came out nice and bright and I can practically feel the warm sunshine and gentle breeze blowing by. :)
By the way, there is still a week left to create something for our "rainbow" themed challenge. As always there is a $20 gift certificate to the 7 Kids store up for grabs and Kelly is getting all sorts of exciting new goodies every day!

The Cat's Meow...
Good morning!
I've got another card to share from this month's Greeting Farm release and this one features another darling pair of pals from the Pretty Kitty set. Because I wanted them to be playing in their living room I also pulled out my handy dandy Vogue Abode stamp set from Paper Smooches. By stamping the furniture in desert sand and doing no-line coloring on it the softer look recedes a bit in comparison to the girl and her kitty, really making them the star of the show. The fish bowl and ball of yarn are actually Doodlebug enamel stickers that I just popped into the scene as an extra fun touch and the cute yellow paper is good ol' Doodlebug too. :)
Alrighty, well I hope your Monday is a good one and I shall see you back here tomorrow!
Supply list:
cardstock- Bazzill and Copic X-Press It

Oh the places you'll go...
TGIF!
I've been really wanting to make another card for the Stamping Bella "spring is in the air" challenge and I figured it would be fun to combine a bunch of different stamps to make that spring time scene I saw in my head. So I pulled out the Summer Backdrop, TT Fairy Sign and TT Fairy Garden sets and got busy masking. Then it was all about the pretty pastel colors to really sell this as an enchanted springtime fairy land. I challenged myself with the glow of the rising sun and trying to capture it on all the different elements as well as the shadows it would throw. I'm very pleased with how this all turned out and it feels good to get so many stamps inked up on one card. :)
Well that's it from me this week, have a crafty weekend my friends!

Do I have to adult today...
Olo!
So a couple weeks ago I was cruising Facebook and I think it was Danni who mentioned that she was revisiting older stamps in her stash and making new cards with them to then show side by side to mark her growth over the years. I really fell in love with this idea and when I grabbed Charlotte to color up I figured I could do something similar in my post today. Back in 2009 Charlotte was part of my very first order from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and I completely adore this quirky cutie. So I colored her up and got my card all put together and I couldn't wait to search back in my blog for the first time I used her. I looked and looked but guess what... other than using her head and shoulders on a card, this was my first time coloring up the entire image. The shame! The horror! I feel like such a neglectful stamper! Sigh... at least she is on a card now and I did have a lot of fun coloring her so I guess it was worth the wait. ;)
Later gators!

It's the 21st and that means it is time for a new challenge to begin over on the 7 Kids Customers Create Facebook page. The theme this time around is rainbows, which you can interpret in many different ways on the card or project that you create. My fellow teammates are sharing loads of brightly colored inspiration in the Facebook group that is sure to get your creative muse going, so check that out. Also, why wouldn't you want to join the fun when there is a chance to win a $20 gift certificate to the 7 Kids store! ;)
For my inspiration card today I've inked up another sweet fairy from the Greeting Farm Sparkle kit. These darling Beans steal my heart every time, I mean just look at that cute little belly, LOL! I paired her up with this rainbow die from my stash and colored it with Copic markers as well to make it nice and bright. I kept the rest of the card stark white so the main elements would really pop.
Ok then, I hope to see all my crafty friends joining the creative fun over on Facebook soon.

My happy place...
Hello, hello!
Over the next couple weeks I will be catching up in posting some of the extra cards I made during the February Greeting Farm release. Today I've got another card using the super adorable Snuggle is Real set which is also now available at 7 Kids as well. I thought it would be fun to have this little gal and her bulldog pal visiting their happy place, the local dog park. So I pulled out the Main Street set and used the brick wall and a portion of the wrought iron fence to create the park enclosure. The rest of the scene was finished by sketching in the trees and background using my Copic markers. I also grabbed a sun ray stencil for the card base and had my first go at using Tim Holtz oxide ink and boy does it go on smooth. I like how those sun rays seem to up the happy on this card. :)
Well, thanks for stopping by today and I will see ya tomorrow!

An egg-stra special day...
Good morning!
I got a bit ahead of myself and made my first Easter card of the year. I was feeling all optimistic for spring until we got more snow dumped on us this weekend and now I'm not feeling quite so hopeful. But I guess I can enjoy sunshine and green growing things on my cards while I trudge through the cold and snow in real life. Anywho, I really wanted to ink up this oldie but goodie My Little Bunny stamp from CC Designs and make a quick and cute card. So I did just that and even pulled out some old papers from my beloved October Afternoon stash and put them to use. It's fresh and fun for the Easter holiday without being overly pastel and frou-frou.
Well, time for me to get myself ready for work. Have a good one!

This week I got my hot little hands on the brand new Adventure Prince and Magical Princess sets from CC Designs and I couldn't wait to create a fantastical scene with them. I pictured these two cuties playing in the woods outside their castle so I grabbed these birch tree stamps from my stash and did a bit of masking to make it all happen. It sure looks like they are having a wonderful time together. :)
Have you joined us on the 7 Kids Customers Create Facebook group yet? It is such a positive and supportive group of fellow crafters with new challenges hosted every two weeks. There is still time to create a card or project for the current "anything goes" challenge and the prize is a $20 gift certificate to the store. Hope to see you there!
Have a wonderful weekend my crafty friends!

I thought it would be fun to color a few of the dinosaurs from the How Rawr You set into a dry, desert cave scene that was inspired by a card Sandy Allnock shared on her Instagram last year. It was a great challenge layering color after color to create the rocks and dirt and I'm very happy with the end results. For the dinos themselves I went back to my childhood and colored them like the dinosaurs from the Land Before Time cartoon. So we've got Spike, Chomper and Cera watching that falling star from their safe hideaway. ;)
Thanks for stopping by and happy hopping!

The sentiment is not from this set but since today is Valentine's Day I just had to use it.

A day spent with you...
Hello friends!
It's preview day 2 of the February stamp release from The Greeting Farm. We have three clear stamp sets coming out this month and all you animal lovers out there better get your wallets ready, LOL! Today the cats are ruling our world with the fabulous Pretty Kitty set which will be available for purchase on the 15th. These mini stamps include four little gals and their pretty kitties along with a few extra accessories and sentiments that make this not just great for cards but planners too. So while my card yesterday may have been inspired by my work, today's card is inspired by my time at home. I adore my kitties and they fill my heart and home with so much love. I thought it would be fun to take three of the girls from the Pretty Kitty set and color them up to look like the same girl and kitty just at different points of the day. To really sell this idea I die cut three rectangle strips and colored in a morning bedroom on one, an afternoon living room on the next and finished it up with a late night snack in the kitchen. I love how the card ended up kinda looking like a comic strip once I put them all together.
Now be sure to head on over to the new TGF blog to see all of the feline fun from my fellow Farmers using the new Pretty Kitty set and I shall see you back here tomorrow with more sneak peek fun! :)

You're so dog gone cute...
Hello, hello!
Today the team and I are kicking off the February stamp release from The Greeting Farm... yeah! We have three clear stamp sets coming out this month and all you animal lovers out there better get your wallets ready, LOL! First up is the cutest puppy set called Snuggle Is Real available for purchase on the 15th. These mini stamps include four little gals and their puppy pals along with a few extra accessories and sentiments that make this not just great for cards but planners too. I have to admit that I kinda went crazy with this set, probably because my day to day work life revolves around caring for and grooming all sorts of dogs. These two gals especially reminded me of my sister and I busy at work so I ran with the idea and made a card for our business. All I had to do was sketch in a grooming table behind them and I was transported to our shop.
Now be sure to head on over to the new TGF blog to see all of the four legged fun from my fellow Farmers using the new Snuggle Is Real set and I shall see you back here tomorrow with more sneak peek fun! :)

Halfway there...
TGIF!
I'm rounding out this week of cards with a darling Dreamerland Crafts stamp called Pull Me Along. This angelic little gal with her proud piglet had me at hello and I couldn't wait to color them into a pretty spring scene. It was so refreshing to pull out all the pretty pinks and greens and just go crazy creating their happy world. Even though the trees around my town still aren't budding I wanted these two to be enjoying the sweet scent of cherry blossoms during their stroll. As I was coloring I didn't really know what I was going to do sentiment wise but as I flipped through one of my sentiment binders this Simon Says stamp caught my eye. I really like how it plays with that tiny piglet happily pulling his friend along in that wagon. Can I just step into this card and join them in the sunshine? LOL!
Well, thanks so much for stopping by this week and have a super crafty weekend! :)

Happy Birthday...
Hello, hello!
Early morning start at work today so I gotta post and run. Mo over at Mo's Digital Pencil has started releasing some $2 digis and boy are they cute! This funny little gal called Here caught my eye right away and I knew I had to get her on a card. Then when I found this old My Mind's Eye paper in my stash I really knew it was meant to be. By keeping the background neutral with all that brown and cream and adding the pops of color to her darling outfit this baby doll really pops and becomes the star of the show. She's just way too sweet, dare I say even sweeter than that cookies and cream ice cream cone she's sharing? ;)
Alrighty, time to scoot my boot!

You're dog-gone awesome...
Please scroll down for my Greeting Farm post... thank you!
Good morning!
There have been a lot of big changes going on over at 7 Kids and one of those changes is that we are starting bi-monthly challenges on the 7 Kids Customers Create Facebook page. They will fall on the 7th and 21st of each month so that means the first "anything goes" challenge is gearing up today. Combine that with the final blog challenge running for one more week and that means you have double the chance to win a $20 gift certificate to the store right now. And if that wasn't enough excitement for the day, Kelly is also running a free shipping special for all U.S. orders today only!
For my inspiration card today I've inked up the brand new The Dog's Woof stamp set from Mama Elephant. Talk about cute, these pups are so adorable and I love how with one large stamp it looks like you have taken hours masking all those little dogs together. I actually did do a bit of masking of my own but just along the top row so that I could stack the stamp and double the size of this perky pack. Then it was all about the coloring and coming up with individual looks for each of them... I had a blast!
Alrighty, well I hope to see all my crafty friends joining the creative fun over on Facebook soon. Toodles!
