Water you up to?

Hey there! 

With MerMay only one day away I just had to dive into the fun a bit early and create this sweet underwater scene combining one of the darling mermaids from the Sea Friends set with a pair of cuties from the Otter Friends set, both at Hello Bluebird. I stamped the little lounging mermaid first then masked her off so that the otter would look like it is swimming behind her. The bits of seaweed were next and then the shells. After coloring them all up I added one of the sentiments from the Sea Sentiments set as well the silhouette fish to help fill the rest of the scene. The Nesting Deckle A2 die set added a cute finished edge all around and just like that, my card was complete. :)

Play in the puddles...

Good morning!

For my card today I've combined stamps from both the Dance in the Rain and Never Far Behind sets that just released. With a little bit of masking I was able to stamp both this cute squirrel and the fox sharing space between that big umbrella. I colored them into a rainy day scene, complete with a puddle to go with the fun sentiment that I stamped both above and below them. I also used some of the cloud and rain stamps from the set to create a monochromatic print on the front of the card base.

More beautiful than any bouquet...

 

Hello again!

It's time for a new digital stamp release at Sweet November Stamps and today we have added three lovely girls, each with their own unique bouquet, in the May Flowers collection. Lizzie, Mary Kate and Cleo are just as pretty as the blooms that they are holding.

I created all three of my cards in a similar layout design so they would coordinate as matching set. This first one features Lizzie with her bouquet of tulips and lilies, in a pretty color palette of rosy pinks, cream and soft peach.

My second card is all about Mary Kate with her bouquet of roses and daisies. Her color palette includes various purple shades, from the pale lavender roses to the darker violets peeking out here and there.

Finally, we have Cleo with her white peonies and oleander mixed with a couple branches of cherry blossoms for the pop of pretty pink in the bouquet.
