So did everyone else enjoy Blogger's mini crash yesterday? It was weird because with so many of the usual blogs that I check out being hosted by Blogger the world felt eerily quiet, LOL! What a relief to have it back in action with everyone being able to share again... whew! :)
I had planned on posting this card yesterday but since that was a no-go hopefully I still have time today to get it entered into the Color Throw down challenge over at Lily Pad Cards. This time it is a beautiful soft palette of aquas, cream, spring green and fig brown and as soon as I saw it I new the exact papers that I was going to use... some classic KI Memories that I've been hoarding away for just the right occasion. And as if that wasn't incentive enough, the challenge is also being sponsored by The Greeting Farm... yeah! So even though it isn't a requirement to use a TGF stamp for the challenge it was the perfect excuse for me to play with the lovely Wild Sprout Elena that I just got. ;)
You may notice that she is looking a bit different from her norm and that is because I did some altering to open up her winking eye and once I had done that I needed to straighten out her arm because otherwise it looked like the poor girl was poking herself in the eye, LOL!
I used my go-to altering technique that you can see here and now I had an Elena who was bright eyed and ready to head off to the country club... at least that is how I picture her anyway... must be the polo and capris... :)
Ok, well it's been great getting to chat at'cha again but it is time for me to head off to work. Hope you all have a great weekend!
