Hey, hey!
TGIF to all my stampin' peeps. :)
I put together a quick Valentine yesterday and had fun altering Devilish Lucy from CC Designs to be more suited to the whole love theme. It was an easy change as all I had to do was wipe away her little horns and tail before stamping and then draw in the missing lines. Now she looks like a funky little chick in her pink patent leather boots and hot pink dress. I added glitter pen to the white skirt that gives her some sparkle and the bow just because I thought she needed more pink. :)
All of the other papers and goodies are from the new Doodlebug Lovebirds line. And let's face it, I just wanted an excuse to play with new stuff, LOL! I'm in love with those little birds, aren't they tweet? ;)
Well, take care and I'll catch ya all again in 24.

Amy this is just too adorable! She makes a very sweet Valentine's card. I love the little birds on your paper. I wish we had a place that had any other kind of paper company than just WeRMK. Don't get me wrong, I like them, but I would love to see some papers that have rich vibrant colors to them. lol... Anyway, little Lucy's hair is gorgeous! I love your color combo and just might have to give that one a try this weekend. Have a wonderful Friday. Hugs, Lisa
ReplyDeleteOMG this card is ADORABLE!!!!! love your altering once again!!! she is super cute!!! Fab papers too! Hope you have an Amazing weekend doll! take care and tell your MOM HI! from us!!!
ReplyDeletehugs,Heidi & Brooke
Awww how sweet, this is simply adorable Amy, love the colours and everything about your card xxx
ReplyDeleteI love it when you alter an image. Someone altered a La-La-Land Luka image, added pigtails to turn him into a girl and was informed by Irina Blount that we can't alter their images at all. I don't get that because even turning, say a plain shirt into a plaid shirt is still "altering" the image. Gonna have to look at company policies very closely before I purchase their images because I want to think outside the box like you do.
ReplyDeleteThis is so adorable! Pretty colors and I never thought to just cut a strip of that cute Doodlebug birdie paper! Fun card!
ReplyDeleteShe's so cute sans her horns and tail!!! Great idea! Love the papers! You must have a gazillion stamps ~ I don't think I ever see you use the same one twice! Lucky girl!!!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely adorable! I love Lucy without her horns and the fun pink bow!
