More confessions of a paper addict

So... I've mentioned before that I have a slight affinity for pretty papers. I've also mentioned that I tend to hang on to paper scraps from all my various projects. This acquiring of new while keeping the old can tend to get a bit overwhelming... but I enjoy the challenge of pulling from my scraps to make my cards. You would think that would be enough to keep me busy but oh no, I have a sickness I tell ya! Not only do I keep my regular paper scraps, I also tend to keep pretty packaging as well. Case in point, my card for today. The sentiment, brown strip and paper are all off the packaging sheet that came on the front of the My Mind's Eye paper kit I bought recently. It made for a really quick card considering I didn't have to cut all those different strips of paper... it just looks like I did. :)
Considering how pleased I am with the way this card came out, I shall remain unrepentant for my paper stashing tendencies. ;)
Oh! And for all those who requested sneak peeks of my fairy stamps, no worries. I promise they are coming... along with some candy! Just be sure to check back here on Monday for all of the fun to begin! :)

  4. AHA!!!! You finally admitted about the fairy stamps! I knew it!! :) Hehe he!!!

Maybe the title of your blog should be a million sheets of paper? LOL! Just kidding! I'm the same way. And it doesn't sound as poetic.

I think you have good reason for hanging on to those packaging bits...the card and its abundant colors and patterns are gorgeous! And the clear snowflakes are just subtle enough not to take away from the background.

    Can't wait, Amy!!!!

  6. So Cute Amy...Love this!! You would have had a hay day here yesterday!! I had piles and piles of paper all over my floor and got sick of looking at it...and instead of going through it!! I tossed it!!!! I know there was good stuff in those piles...but it was easier just to toss!!
