Can you feel the love tonight...

it is where we are, it's enough for this wide-eyed wanderer that we got this far...

LOL, how did you like my Elton John impersonation? And tell the truth, can you say that first line without belting it out and drawing out that first syllable? Me either... ;)

So happy hump day everyone... we're half way through the week and my to-do list doesn't seem to be shrinking as quickly as I would like, oh well. I'll just keep prioritizing and plugging away and hopefully get everything done. I guess that means I shouldn't be dilly-dallying on here too long either so let's get to today's card.

This time I've got Swiss Miss Rosalie sans roses this time but still just as cute if you ask me. :)
I've paired her up with some new My Mind's Eye Be Loved papers and die-cut for a fresh twist on the Valentine's look... that teal just makes everything pop... love it!
I was reading Traci's blog and how she is making an effort to finally cut into all those pretty papers she loved and had to have but then never touched and I'll be the first to admit that I've fallen into this trap as well, so I'm really trying to use it as I get it this year. Granted, this is going to add to my scrap bags but I'll just have to keep up with that personal challenge too so things don't get too out of control. Guess that just means I need to step up my card making... ;)

Catch y'all later!

  2. Ahhh yes Elton John...one of my long times favs. Love this card and I just came from Traci's blog...I have a shameful amount of paper that needs some attention and that BIG can of flowers. This card is too cute and love the shading on the dress. I can just see the little ridges on the bottom.

  25. This is just gorgeous Amy! Your colouring is absolutely stunning, I so can not wait till they arrive in my little fingers! I am one of those girls with you also, buy papers because I just LOVE and have to have them and then never use them, get them out look at them think about it and put them back, but NOT this year and also NO scraps this year is another of my aim, along with not buying more paper than needed, ribbon, blah blah never going to happen, hehe!
