Good morning friends!
It feels kinda weird not to have some kind of sneak peek to share with you today but it was fun to make a card "just because". And my "just because" on this one was a chance to play with some new stamps and papers. :)
I recently got the new CC Designs Swiss Pixie Spring set and couldn't wait to dive into them! This little cutie was the first one to grab my attention and since I was in a mood to color I decided to use some of the other background stamps to create an entire scene for her to live in. I did some masking so that the fence appears to be behind her and I also stamped the fence twice so it would span the entire length of the cardstock. All I had to do was draw in a couple connecting posts and voila... longer fence!
Because there was so much going on in the scene I kept the rest of the card pretty simple and didn't even add any embellishments... shock! Well, I guess technically the stitching is really rub-ons but other than that... no embellies. What can I say? Sometimes a girl just wants to color. ;)
Alrighty, I guess I had better go get ready for work... boy am I dragging my feet this morning. Hopefully I can get a little pep in my step before too long!
Oh! And before I forget... you still have through today to enter for a chance to win on the Sweet November candies. I'll be random generating winners tonight and announcing them on tomorrow's post. So good luck!
Talk to ya later! :)Supply list:
