Another Burtonesque Sunday

Howdy friends!

Well I survived work yesterday and even got to enjoy some sunshine and lovely weather once I got home. :)
Considering all that sunny goodness it's kind of funny that I made such a dark, quick and easy card for Simple Sunday today. But I did want to take on the Burtonesque challenge again, especially since I had this cool Tiddly Inks digi that I wanted to color up and thought would be absolutely perfect for it! So I quickly colored miss Batty in a very monochromatic color scheme and gave her a little scene to inhabit as well. The rest of the card is super simple... just a couple squares of paper and a sheet of doodle looking rub-ons plus rub-on alphas for the sentiment and viola! Finished card... and I was back outside to enjoy the evening! :)

Now it's time to head off to work again... hope your weekend has been fantastic! Supply list:
cardstock- DCWV and PTI
paper- Basic Grey (basics)
digi stamp- Tiddly Inks (Batty)
Colorbox blackbird chalk ink
Making Memories doodle rub-ons
Lil Davis alpha rub-ons
Sakura clear glaze pen
Copic markers:
skin- E0000, E000, E70, R11
hair- E40, E41, W00, 0
clothes- BV02, BV04, BV08, C3, C5, C7, C9
background- BV23, BV25, BV29, BV13, BV17, BV20

  12. OH boy! Luv this "darkness" & the blues in this card Amy! You would make Tim Burton proud . . . this is so his style!

Btw, in response to the "POKE", I watched Guy @ Poke Stop in the episode you saw. And guess what? That Sweet Onion Ahi Poke was from Poke Stop! I luv poke and can eat it everyday, but it's not cheap! Spicy ahi poke is my favorite! You have to come for a visit and try all the foods Hawaii has to offer! Such a mix of cultures! Have a great day and sorry for the rambling! :)
