they're putting up reindeer
and singing songs of joy and peace
oh I wish I had a river
I could skate away on...
Good morning fellow stampers!
Please don't mind me and the Christmas song lyrics... I'm just going to have some fun each day and write out whatever song pops into my head when I look at my card. :)
Today Joni Mitchell came to mind and I'm not sure why exactly. That song always sounds kinda sad to me but I certainly don't think this card is sad. Maybe it is the dreamy, wishful look on Miss Anya's face that brought it to mind... or maybe I'm just a bit cray-cray, LOL!
This is actually another quickie because of the fab Making Memories paper. It totally fakes the look of mixing papers, tearing edges and stamping that holly... but in reality it is all just one single sheet of paper. Gotta love that! And you can never go wrong with a classic Miss Anya if you ask me. :)
Well, I've got quite the to-do list to try and tackle today, wish me luck and I'll see ya back here in 24 with some Snowflake Fairy candy winners! ;)
Supply list:
cardstock- Bazzill and Copic X-Press It
paper/die cuts- Making Memories (Noel)
stamp- The Greeting Farm (Rain, Snow, Shine Miss Anya)
ink- Memento tuxedo black and Colorbox dark brown chalk ink
Kaiser Craft pearls
ribbon
Liquid Applique
Copic markers:
skin- E000, E00, E11, R20
hair- E50, E51, E53, 0
clothes- YG63, YG17, YG67, E44, E47, E49, R46, R59, E18, E50, E30, 0

ReplyDeleteHi Amy, This card is just wonderful. I love your Miss Anya and I have to say that this paper is wonderful. How fun to have the paper all ready to go for you. It looks fantastic all together. I sure hope you were able to get your to do list done so that you could play. I am really looking forward to a second day off. It still feels like I have to be at work tomorrow, but it will be nice to have that extra day to get somethings done around here. I think Jerry and I might even get the chance to watch Pearl Harbor before the kids get home. Hugs, Lisa
