Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Talk about needing some warm fuzzies, it hasn't gotten over 20 degrees here the last few days and the rest of the week isn't looking to get much better. It's all about layers, layers, layers just so we don't freeze! Hopefully things are warmer in your neck of the woods. :)
Well, sometimes I feel that my card layouts kinda start falling into a rut and that is the perfect time to venture out and find a great sketch to shake things up a bit. So that is exactly what I did with today's card... I decided to play along with this week's CA&Friends Saturday sketch challenge for a fun change of pace. And my image is an alteration that I've been dying to do ever since I spotted Fuzzy Wuzzy Oliver's fantastic hat! I head swapped digi Wild Sprout Audrey's head (fingers crossed we see her in rubber someday soon... nudge, nudge, wink, wink!) with digi Wild Sprout Camille's body. Then I plunked Oliver's hat (doesn't it remind you of Cousin Eddie's from the Christmas Vacation movie? LOL) on her to finish off the ensemble. With her little tongue sticking out she totally makes me think of a kid trying to catch snowflakes during a snow fall. Anywho, I really love how this one came together. :)
Alrighty, before I head off for the day I just want to remind you that there is still time to get entered into the Sweet November Princess candies below and I will be announcing all of the winners in tomorrow's post!
Good luck!

ReplyDeleteOkay, this is about the cutest alteration EVER!! I said "awww" out loud when I saw it! Let's hope with that cold weather you are having that she is just trying to catch snowflakes and is not thinking of sticking her tongue to any poles (before Christmas break I had to deal with 4 different cases of that the last week of school!) :-)Traci

This is the cutest card, I love the Christmas Vacation reference: it is "our" Christmas movie, my (adult) kids still come home every year for a viewing. Regarding your weather; careful what you wish for, we (in Western Australia) have been sweltering in close to 40 Celcius (that's over 100 Farenheit) since Christmas Eve. I long to cover my aging body, layers is just a distant dream, lol. Thanks for sharing your lovely creations, Dee
