No peeking... ok, maybe just a little peek...

Good morning!

I am shifting gears from my Halloween/fall kick to skip ahead just a bit to Christmas. That's right, the Tickled Pink previews for September begin today and we have the gorgeous new Vintage Christmas Lads and Lolitas to share. As always they are illustrated by Christina Dee and this collection also comes with a Christmas sentiment release designed by the talented Ann.

I have to tell you all right now, I am in LOOOOVE with every single one of these stamps! I cannot wait to share them all with you but we have to tease just a little, so one a day it is. ;)
The first Christmas beauty to be featured is modeled after the artist herself, Christina. She looks amazing in her flowing gown and at first I couldn't decide whether she was wrapping or unwrapping that present. But when I came across the 'no peeking' sentiment sticker I could just see her trying to get away with a quick sneaky look into her gift from Santa. Seriously, doesn't her face look a little too innocent? LOL

Speaking of the sentiment sticker, it actually came as part of the entire 25 Days of Christmas kit by Simple Stories (a relatively new paper company that has quickly risen into my top five faves). The colors and look of the prints was so perfect with these new Vintage Christmas characters that I actually decided to create all six of my preview cards with it so they look kinda like a coordinating set. Why fight the paper love I always say. :)

As always it wouldn't be a Tickled Pink Stamps preview without a prize, so head on over to the Tickled Pink blog and leave a comment on today's post for a chance at winning your very own Vintage Christmas Christina rubber stamp! And while you are there be sure to check out all of the merry Christina cards that my fellow Pink Ladies have created too.

Feliz Navidad! heeheehee

  1. Hi Amy. OMW!!! Why fight the paper indeed! I love your card my friend. She does look like she's trying to get away with a little something. lol... I am loving your reds. I will keep watching your video so that I can get better. I have a ton of R. Copics, but I tend to stay away from the. I can hear the Sister in my ear saying(with an accent of course)"Practice, practice..PRACTICE!" lol... Anyway I also just love how you made her skirt look like it is flowing out from were she is sitting every so lady like. Have a great day. Hugs, Lisa
