Making new friends this Christmas

A holiday hello to everyone!

Are you ready to travel back to Sweet November Land once again? This time there is a chill in the air and snow on the ground as the inhabitants of this magical place prepare for the most magical day of the year. We should try to find those smallest of the small inhabitants of SN Land, the Fairwees, because I hear that they really know how to celebrate the season in a BIG way! :)

Now that the snow has finally let up and the sun is shining across the fresh blanket of white that covers the ground it is easy to spot a bit of movement over near the skating pond. As we make our way over we find tiny Fairwee Piper putting the finishing touches on a wee little snowman friend. She has taken great care putting him together and she's hoping that with just an extra bit of Christmas magic he might come to life once she places that hat on his head. Do you believe that it will work? Piper's sweet "squee" of excitement and the sudden blinking of his tiny coal eyes proves that we never should have doubted the enchantment of this place. :)

And you had better believe that there is some snowy candy to be had as well...

Now there is just one final stop for us on this Christmas journey through Sweet November Land as we have yet to find Fairwee Josie. Something tells me that if we return to that same hidden glade beyond the waterfall we might have some luck. The winter weather has created quite the transformation in this place and instead of toadstool rings the trees are covered with mistletoe. I don't think that this is a completely natural occurrence as fluttering just overhead is tiny miss Josie dangling a sprig of the winter greenery. She wants to let all of us know that while decorating, shiny gifts, playing, and merriment are all wonderful things, it is love that is the real reason for the season. ♥
