True Blue Friend

Ahhh, Monday... here you are again...

It's going to be a long day for me today so I had best jump right into my post.

I've been wanting to make this card for months! Seriously, I came across this pocket stamp set back in December and as soon as I saw it I knew that I wanted to put a Fairwee or two in there. I mean, come on, who wouldn't want to keep a fairy friend in their pocket? ;)
Unfortunately my idea had to sit on the back burner while I was doing Christmas, winter and Valentine cards. But now with spring on the way, I thought it was the perfect time to play with this cool pocket set. So I stamped directly onto some scrap denim from an old pair of jeans and cut it out. Then I decorated it up with some eyelets and the sentiments and accessory images. Once I had that all put together all I had to do was decide on a Fairwee. Daphne was the first to volunteer and she flew right into her cozy little pocket hide-away.
I had so much fun with this that I guarantee you will be seeing more pocket cards from me in the near future. :)
