Tweetin' in the garden

Hi guys!

It's review preview day over on the ATS blog and today we are featuring the new July Sweet November Garden Gnome Girls
My card features Gnome Myra with her walnut wheelbarrow and this time she has a little bird friend along for the ride. Because I loved the papers in the Citron Indie Chic paper pad so much, I ended up paper piecing nearly her entire ensemble. Dress, apron, hat... they are all paper with just touches of Copic coloring to add some shadows and dimension. Even though I'm taking the time to cut the pieces out, they are all pretty easy cuts so I ended up saving time on the coloring this way too. I also thought it would add some cool dimension to trim out the end of her wheelbarrow and slip a real button under there for the wheel. The rest of the simple decoration on this card all relies on stickers. I'll admit that I have quite a few stickers in my stash but for some reason I don't go to them as much as I should... again, great time savers! ;)

Alrighty, to see even more garden delights from the rest of my ATS teamies just hop on over to the ATS blog and thanks so much for stopping by today!

XOXO
