Hey there!
How is everyone on this fine morning? Things are great here... it's cold but I can't complain because it makes for a good excuse to stay indoors and play. I should be cleaning a bit though and getting the house ready for some holiday decor. So far I've only got a couple of hurricane jars full of Christmas candy and a yummy vanilla and peppermint candle burning on the mantle... gotta do something about that. ;)
Yesterday I grabbed Gingerbread Kaylee from Some Odd Girl and finally inked her up. She reminds me a lot of my youngest sister, Jacque, who is the baker in our family. Jac makes delicious cakes and cookies, some of which I have to wait a whole year before I get to enjoy again... thus the sentiment. Yea, I'm being a bit cheeky with her but that's my prerogative as the big sister and she is more than used to it by now, LOL!
Anywho... if you guessed that I was using up more of my Christmas scraps on this card you would be right. It's an eclectic mix but when I saw those cute gingerbread I knew I had to use it. They inspired me to color the round cookies on Kaylee's tray to look like little gingerbread faces. Mmmm... gingerbread. Now I'm getting hungry! I guess that means I need to go and find something for breakfast.
Alrighty then, take care and I'll chat with you again tomorrow. :)

Hi Amy, This is really adorable! I love your little cookies and the cookie cutters as well. Sounds like you were having a great start to a cold day. We I drove home tonight it was so light out from the frost and cold in the air. They say we are going to get rain and be in the 40s for the rest of the week, but I will be shocked as right at the moment it is 29 and very very very cold. :O) Hope you had a great day being crafty. Hugs, Lisa

ReplyDeleteI love this image!! I colored her up with bright tights too! Your scraps look wonderful- the papers always seem to match. Love the lay-out & your teasing of your sis. As the older sis, we do get the right to tease and be bossy once in a while!! :).
