Twinkle, twinkle

Mornin' folks!

Boy, yesterday ended up being quite the busy day and it was cold too. We had a skiff of snow early on but nothing accumulated thank goodness. I didn't get back home 'til late so my unwind time in the crafty room was short and sweet. :)

I had a package waiting for me with some new Greeting Farm stamps and I couldn't resist turning this darling little Twinkle Bean into a Christmas looking cutie. So I altered her a bit just by drawing in some long sleeves and stripes on the resulting long-john type outfit. I added some sparkle to her outfit too but didn't quite capture the shine in my photo. And while her hair may be the shade of Grinchy green, I guarantee that this little sweetie is overflowing with Christmas spirit. Even her snowman pal can attest to that. ;)
Yep, those are all Doodlebug scraps so I'm still working successfully through the scrap bag. I was quite excited to find these to go with Twinkle because I've always thought that the Doodlebug look paired nicely with TGF stamps. They are both cheerful and just make me smile.

Alrighty, it's a day off for me but I have plenty on my schedule to keep me busy. Toodles!

  4. Hi Amy, I love how you have colored her! She is just so adorable with her green hair. You can tell that she isn't a Grinchy green, she just looks too sweet. I purchased her this last week as well, but I have to say that I love the way you have envisioned her. Really really cute. I also love those little snowflakes that I see here. Are they brads or adhesive decorations? I can't tell, but I think they are awesome whatever they are. We had a bit of flurries yesterday as well. Those flakes were huge and it lasted for over an hour, but I am happy to say that none of it stuck. :O) I figure it will soon enough. lol... It however is uber uber cold today and not expected to get much warmer all week. We'll see. Have a great Sunday my friend. Hope I spelled everything correctly as Lucy is sitting on my lap neading my arms as I time. She is such a Mama's girl.
    Hugs, Lisa
