I hope you know...

Hey there!

It's promising to be a beautiful Saturday here in my neck of the woods. I'll be working most of the day but afterwards I plan on taking advantage of the sunshine and go find something fun to do. I'm not sure what kind of trouble I'll find to get into but I need to blow off a little steam. :)

So I've made a card to play along with this week's Flutter By challenge. It's a sketch and it was just what I needed to pull this one together. I had already grabbed this pre-stamped Pergamano Fairy off my desk and cut the circle around her, so I figured it was totally meant to be when I saw that the sketch had a circle front and center, LOL!
I can't recall whether I've stamped this cute fairy up before but I totally adore her. There is something about the look on her face that reminds me of the little girl who plays Arya in the Game of Thrones series... I think it must be those sad eyes.

Speaking of GOT, I'm just now getting around to watching the second season on DVD and while they are doing a decent job of sticking fairly close to the books I can't believe they cut out Jojen and Meera Reed! Where are they?! Man, I wish I got HBO since I know that season three has begun but I'll have to wait a year for it to hit DVD. In the meantime I need to restart reading A Dance with Dragons, I had made it only about a fourth of the way through before everything happened with my mom last year and it just kind of got laid aside. Which isn't all bad considering there is still quite the wait before book six is even set for release. So I want to refresh my memory with what all was going on instead of trying to start where I left off. I suppose if I don't find anything exciting to do tonight I may just make a date with my book. ;)

Wow, that was quite the GOT fan girl tangent to go off on but I make no apologies, LOL!

  6. Adorable card! Makes me look at it a whole different way now that you mentioned Arya. No spoilers here, but you will eventually get the Reeds. I have been watching the 3rd season on HBO but decided to cut back on spending and turned off HBO so now I can't finish it until the DVD comes out :( Traci

  8. Hi Amy, this is just adorable and even though I don't know what show you are talking about I still think your fairy is very sweet looking and I love her on this card. Hope you are getting that sunshine. It is pretty warm here, but we have wind advisory and it is really clowdy today. Oh well you can't have everything. lol Hugs, Lisa

  12. awe your card is darling. love the image. I loved the sketch this week and you rocked it well. We didn't make it by your blog Saturday as we had to get up and get ready to go out to a car show and then I got dragged along with Brooke and her daddy, Brit, to the County Fair. I hate wasting money at the Fair. I always think of what crafty thing I could of bought with the money being wasted there. Ugh!! 5.00 just for parking!!! 8.00 just to get into the Fair. I lied tho and told them Brooke was only 5 cuz 5 and under are Free! She is 7 but not growing very fast. Heck her cousin who is 5 was with us and Brooke and her are the same height! Hope u are having an Awesome Sunday!!!Looking foward to this weeks creations!!!
    Hugs, Heidi & Brooke
