Peace on Earth...

Hiya folks!

Well, I managed to make a card yesterday. This one is for the December challenge at Some Odd Girl which is to create your own background. Admittedly this is out of my comfort zone as I'm slightly addicted to my pattern papers. ;)
But I've been wanting to get Angel Mae colored up and on a card so this seemed like a good opportunity to stretch a little. As I colored Mae I was inspired by a pin that I saw on Pinterest of feathers with their tips dipped in gold paint. Gold tipped wings seemed quite appropriate for this Christmas angel. Which then led me to the background I would create... I grabbed a bottle of gold Color Shine and spritzed the entire card base. Once that was dry I also laid down a star stencil and brushed Gold Smooch over it. It's a pretty simple background but hey, I created it myself! It's just too bad that I can't get a good pic of all that glitter and sparkle, trust me though... it's there.  :)

Okey dokey, I'm off to get this day under way. Thanks for stopping by!

Not sure why, but someday or I'll put them on my Christmas list and see if Santa thinks I've been good. heehee... We'll see. Anyway, just wanted to come by and say Hi as it feels like ages since I have blogged. Hope you are having a wonderful weekend. Stay warm. Hugs Lisa
