Hello friends!
So today we are starting a new monthly feature at 7 Kids called the Sweet November Vault. Basically, the Vault is a special 24 hour period where we bring back a few select 'classic' Sweet November rubber images and convert them to a new digital format. So if you missed getting them 'back in the day' now is your chance... and they are quite the deal too!
Our first two treasures from the Vault are a pair of Christmas Fairwees from 2011 and I guess the question we have to ask is... are you ready to travel back to Sweet
November Land? There is a chill in the air and
snow on the ground as the inhabitants of this magical place prepare
for the most magical day of the year. We should try to find those smallest of the small inhabitants of SN Land, the Fairwees, because I hear that they really know how to celebrate the season in a BIG way!
Now
that the snow has finally let up and the sun is shining across the
fresh blanket of white that covers the ground it is easy to spot a bit
of movement over near the skating pond. As we make our way over we find
tiny Fairwee Piper putting the finishing touches on a wee little snowman friend. She has
taken great care putting him together and she's hoping that with just an
extra bit of Christmas magic he might come to life once she places that
hat on his head. Do you think it will work? Piper's sweet "squee"
of excitement and the sudden blinking of his tiny coal eyes proves that
we never should have doubted the enchantment of this place.
The snow is starting to come down as we make our way out into a clearing... better bundle up
tight. Watching the snowflakes dance as they descend to the ground is a
magical experience here in Sweet November Land because as we all know
that there are always lovely snowflake fairies to be found here this
time of year. And little Fairwee Emaline
must know that as well because she is doing her best to be as graceful
and lovely as those fairies she looks up to. I don't have the heart to
tell her that her snow dance looks more like the hokey pokey than a ballet, LOL!
Still, Emaline is having fun and her joy is rather infectious as it is hard to resist not doing a twirl or two in the snow ourselves.
