Merry and Bright...

Mornin' folks!

Now I know I don't usually post on the weekend unless it is for a release or TGF catch up posts but since Christmas is only three days away and there are still a few stamp sets that I really want to get on cards this year, here I am. Today's card features all of the cute woodland critters from the Hello Bluebird Christmas is Coming set. I've been wanting to create this scene with this set ever since I got my hands on it. I knew I wanted to play with the light in that lantern so it would have to be a night scene, which made me kinda nervous. How to convey snow covered ground at night? Leaving it all white wouldn't work, so I got brave and grabbed greys and blues and dove right in. In the end it turned out pretty close to the picture I had in my head so I'm a happy crafter. :)
