Happy 4th of July!
For many of us here in the States today is a day to celebrate with family and friends as we enjoy backyard barbecues, swimming, games, parades and of course fireworks displays. When I sat down to pick a stamp for my card celebrating this 4th of July holiday I was a bit stumped at first. I've done plenty of cards in the past featuring fireworks in some way and I wanted a change so when I flipped through the stamps still sitting on my desk and saw the Party Parade set from Hello Bluebird I had my inspiration. But I didn't stop with just that one set, instead I pulled out my Hello Bluebird binder and found more fun critters, from various sets, to really build up my 4th of July parade with not only those walking the route but the bystanders watching it as well. I had such a blast putting them all together in their patriotic red, white and blue pageantry.
Alrighty, have a blast today my friends but be safe while still having fun! :)

ReplyDeleteAmy, what a creative and clever 4th of July card! I LOVED it and just had to pop over to your blog and leave you some 4th of July card love here too! Super card today!
ReplyDeleteSuch storybook quality to how you filled in the background! Awesome how you were able to combine the sets. Sometimes, different sets are different sizes of the same critter. Looks like Hello Bluebird makes sure they can fit well together! I find that Lawn Fawn also always keeps that in mind.
ReplyDeleteThis is soooo stinking CUTE!!!! It's missing a piggy tho!!! lol lol
