Happy Halloween my crafty fiends!
The spookiest night of the year is here and I am wrapping up this year's Halloween cards with this fabulous clear stamp from Moonlight Whispers. Yep, you read that right, Sarah the Surfing Sorceress is one of the new clear stamps that Annie has added to her shop and I think she is simply amazing. From the first time I laid eyes on her I could just picture her sailing through the night sky with a giant full moon shining a spotlight right on her so that's exactly what I colored in. In the original image Sarah is joined by the three little bats in front of her but I wanted a couple more tagging along behind so I just moved the stamped and did some selective inking to add her extra friends. I'm not sure where Sarah is flying off to but if I had to guess I think she's on her way to a star studded monster bash... all of the cool ghouls will be there! ;)
Have fun tonight and be sure to come back tomorrow for a very Merrwee Sweet November release!

I'll put a spell on you...
Hello friends!
It's my turn to post over on The Greeting Farm blog and considering that we are only one day away from Halloween, a day for candy, costumes and maybe even a bit of mischief, I thought it would be fun to grab a Cheeky for my card. I looked through my rubber stamps, then my clears and it wasn't until I scrolled through my digi collection that I found the Cheeky with just the right amount of sass that would work... Cheeky Kitty. She looks to be puuurrrfectly prepared for some Halloween mischief... even that jack o'lantern I colored into the scene seems to agree. I couldn't stop hearing Joey's voice from Friends saying, "How you doin'?" as I worked on this scene, LOL!
Here's to wishing you all a spooktacular Halloween full of sweets and maybe even a silly scare or two.

Trick or treat...
Hey there!
It's hard to believe we are only a couple days away from Halloween, where did the month go? Even with these last three days I'm not going to be able to ink up all the fun Halloween stamps that I got this year, some will just have to wait until next year to fulfill their crafty destiny. But today I was able to play with this super cute Halloween stamp that my pal Tress gifted me with recently. These two sweet trick or treaters are no longer available in rubber but they can be found in the Lili of the Valley digi shop. I paired them with a spooky haunted house from an older Penny Black set to help flesh out the scene and add a bit of story to the background. What a delight they were to color up and I'm so glad I was able to fit them into my crafty schedule. :)
Ok, stay spooky guys and ghouls!

Let it snow...
Good morning friends!
Can you feel the excitement? It's release day at Hello Bluebird! Yep, tonight at 7pm MT time the entire release will be available in the HB store. But before that we still have two more stamp sets to preview this morning as well as one last chance to win a $50 gift certificate over on the Hello Bluebird blog. For my sneak peek card I've stamped up a bunch of the fun four-legged friends from the new Snowball Fight set. This set is full of puppies and kitties all decked out in winter wear and ready for some frosty fun. I really wanted to play up the whole snowball fight theme and to do that I knew I needed to give my little guys a lot of space, thus the slimline card design. I stamped them up in teams, dogs vs. cats and went to town adding in plenty of flying snowballs between them. I also couldn't resist adding a snowball to that silly pup that that has been knocked on his backside. If you ask me it looks like the cats may be winning, LOL! The sentiment I used comes with the new Snowy Sky Scene die that is releasing tonight as well and it was the perfect finishing touch.
Alrighty, thanks for stopping by! :)

Season's Greetings...
Hello again!
It's day three of the Hello Bluebird holiday release previews and we've got a whole lot more crafty goodness to share. Today's preview is all about the darling Oh Christmas Tree set as well as two new scene dies, Snowy Sky and Winter Woods. I gotta say it was a fun change up incorporating these pre-cut scene elements into my card design. Normally I would be coloring the background in from scratch but by coloring the die cuts and layering them together I had a full scene ready to go just like that for my little festive woodland friends. And these cuties are just the tip of the iceberg because this set is chalk full of critters and accessories that can be mixed and matched in so many different ways. There are so many more ideas already floating around in my head with this set that I can't wait to get it inky again. :)
Be sure to check out the Hello Bluebird blog for more Christmas tree cuteness from the HB team and enter for a chance to win a $50 gift certificate to the HB store. Then come back tomorrow as we wrap up previews before the release Monday night at 7 pm MT!

From our family to yours...
I know, I know... two posts in one day, this is crazy!
But we are rolling right along with the Hello Bluebird holiday release previews and I can't wait to show you what we have today. This preview is all about the fantastic new Family Photo set that features Mr. and Mrs. Claus, Frosty, Prancer, Blitzen and a couple of penguins and birds... aren't they just crazy adorable?! And the really great thing is that this card didn't require a whole lot of masking because the main image includes all but one of the penguins and one of the reindeer. I challenged myself to stamp them all up with Fade Out ink so I could do some no-line coloring. I will admit it was a labor of love with all of these different characters but I absolutely adore how soft and sweet the end result is. For the sentiment I grabbed another new set, Bold Holiday, and paired the large 'joy' with the tag line that comes in the Family Photo set.
Don't forget to check out the Hello Bluebird blog for more festively fun cards from the HB team and enter for a chance to win a $50 gift certificate to the HB store. Then come back tomorrow as we continue the countdown to release day on Monday the 28th at 7 pm MT!

Never wasted...
Hey there!
It's time for another Scenic Saturday post and this go round I was drawn to do something cozy and indoors. The new Curvy Girl Multitasker had just the vibe I was going for. Once I had this beauty stamped and masked off I grabbed the large Fall Window and stamped it right behind her. This immediately set the mood for that perfect, lazy Autumn day that I wanted to capture on this card. I kept my color choices for the room warm and earthy to further that fall look then made Miss Multitasker nice and bright so she and her kitty would really pop. The sentiment I added comes with Tiny Townie Courtney Loves Kitties and it could basically be the mantra I live by, LOL! Seriously, if I could swap places with this relaxed pair of pals right now I SO would. 😉
Here's hoping you all have a relaxing and crafty weekend!

Snowflake Kisses and Winter Wishes...
TGIF my friends!
So I've been sitting on a big secret for a while now and I am SO excited that I finally get to spill the beans... I have been invited to be a guest designer for Hello Bluebird during their holiday release this month! I'm tellin' ya, you could have knocked me over with a feather when I got the email, I have been such a huge fan of their super cute stamps for some time now so getting the chance to help showcase a new release is a total thrill!
Today is the first day of previews and the HB team and I will be sharing new cards every day leading up to the release on Monday the 28th at 7pm mountain time. For today's sneak peek I have inked up a few of the darling woodland critters from the First Snow set. There are so many great images in this set and I've got big plans for the rest as well but I started with these three because I liked how they are all looking up towards the sky with their scarves trailing out behind them. This lead me to coloring them into quite the gusting snow storm, which was a lot of fun. The sweet little sentiment comes in the set as well and perfectly compliments these adorable characters. I kept the majority of the card light and kind of washed out so that the bright colors on the critters would really pop as the focal point. I think the end result captures that magic of winter's first snow fall. :)
Alrighty, be sure to check out the Hello Bluebird blog for amazing cards from the HB team and then come back tomorrow as we continue the countdown to release day!

Means a little bit more...
Hello, hello!
How about a bit more Christmas sweetness from Stamping Bella today? This little guy is one of three cuties in the Penguins Bearing Gifts set that was part of the recent holiday release. I figured a fresh fish would probably be a penguin's favorite gift to both give or receive so this sentiment from the Christmas Sentiments set seemed like a good fit. I colored in a couple of icebergs off in the frozen background to set the scene and added a bit of snowy paper to complete the overall arctic vibe. :)
Ok, I'm off again... loads of coloring to get done today!

Boo to You...
Hiya friends!
It seems like I am on quite the Halloween critter kick lately. This time around I inked up the It's Bootastic set from Evelin T. Designs. I actually got this set at 7 Kids but it looks like it is sold out now. Still, I love the energy and movement in these cuties, doesn't it look like Frankenbear is dancing along to Thriller? LOL! I paired these Halloween party goers with the large Boo to You die from Hello Bluebird and even added a couple extra bats flying around it. I can't believe that Halloween is just a week away now, how crazy is that?! What a fun spooky card making season it has been though. :)

Christmas is a feeling...
Hey there!
As I was looking through my computer for cards that hadn't been posted here yet I was kinda shocked that this one hadn't been shared already. As fabulous as the entire Stamping Bella holiday release was, this image in particular immediately squeezed my heart and gave me all the feels. There is just something about Bundle Girl Wrapped in a Polar Bear that almost moves me to tears with the shear power of it's emotion. That tiny tot, completely vulnerable out in the woods totally enveloped in the warmth and protection of that gentle giant... sigh. ALL.THE.FEELS...SERIOUSLY. And that sentiment from the new Christmas Sentiment set couldn't be any more perfect with them. A simple night scene with a big glowing moon to illuminate these two and I couldn't be any happier with this card. I'm so glad I'm finally getting it up now. :)
Alrighty, time to go get busy. See ya in 24!

Always in style...
Good morning!
I've got another busy, but fun week ahead of me as I get ready for some upcoming release goodness. So while I'm working behind the scenes for the most part, I am going to be getting caught up here on the ol' blog with extra cards from past releases that haven't been shared yet. This one in particular is from the August Greeting Farm release using the Mini Remix Friend set. I went back to my crafting roots with this one and grabbed a sheet of Echo Park paper that has borders of this stylin' little sidewalk scene and used it as a backdrop for this sweet little Anya. All of my Copic colors where pulled to coordinate with the paper and I kept the over-all design very clean and simple. The end result is a pretty, yet quick to make card and there ain't nothin' wrong with that! LOL
Laters!

It's a sweet Christmas Vault release!
Hello and welcome to this month's Sweet November Vault release. We have dug way back in the Vault to the 2013 release of Gingy and his gingerbread friends. For the next week all five of these sweet-as-can-be gingerbread pals will be available as new, updated digital stamps in the 7 Kids store. But don't wait too long to add them to your digi collection because once next Saturday rolls around... back in the Vault they will go. Now let's take a minute or two to reacquaint ourselves with these cookie cuties.
While Santa is in the workshop overseeing toy production for the upcoming holiday season, Mrs. Claus is busy baking up all sorts of sweet treats in the kitchen. And she's not alone, she's got help from Gingy, the sweet little gingerbread man brought to life by Christmas magic. Gingy and his pals are busy at the cookie station... a place where they naturally feel right at home. One of the little gingerbread men is taking a break from rolling out dough, stopping to rest atop the well used rolling pin, while Gingy himself is practicing his skills with the icing bag. And the best part is that we get to enjoy the tasty delights that these magical Christmas gingerbread men have made just for us.
Gingy is quite the artiste when it comes to decorating all of the treats and delicacies that Mrs. Claus whips up. Today he is using candy canes to make a heart pattern on his fancy gingerbread house. It's Gingy's way to represent the love that is the spirit of the season. They have also been sorting the biggest and best of the gumdrops for the special gingerbread house that they've all been putting together.
Christmas magic has brought these cute cookies to life and they love to spend their days decorating all sorts of holiday confections. One of the most important jobs in the kitchen is popping popcorn for the garland strands that decorate the official North Pole Christmas tree. Gingy always pops extra popcorn so there is plenty to string and just enough left over to munch on.

Tis the season to be spooky...
TGIF!
How about another parade of costumed critters today... only this time from Hello Bluebird? These adorable trick or treaters are from the Little Haunters set that was released last month and I just couldn't let Halloween come and go without getting them on a card. The sentiment that I colored into a sign post is also part of the set and it actually lead me in the direction of adding a spooky forest background for these cuties. Luckily they don't seem too concerned about taking this eerie detour... must be all that candy they are hopped up on, LOL!
See ya tomorrow for this month's SN Vault release!

Trick or Sweets...
Hello again!
I'm still having fun inking up Halloween stamps that I've added to my collection this year and today is all about the Spooktacular Friends set from My Favorite Things. These happy-go-lucky trick or treating critters look like they are dancing and skipping their way from house to house. I love that this set came with so many great scene builders as well to make that vision come to life. It was super easy to mask this all together in a way that pushed the house deep into the background and pulled the cuties close up to the front of the scene so that it looks like they will skip right out of view any moment now. :)
Creep it real, LOL!

Octobers...
Good morning!
Some Odd Girl is celebrating Oddtober this month with all sorts of challenges, flash sales and other fun events. I've been so busy that this is the first day I've had free to play along in the celebration. All year long Kristy has been adding fun Zodiac digis that are free during their release month and when I grabbed Taurus back in May I knew right away that I wanted to transform her into a cute Oktoberfest girl. So the timing couldn't be more perfect when I saw that SOG is hosting a Zodiac Challenge in their Facebook group and it runs until the 27th. Originally this little gal has a set of Taurus horns on her head but I just used a cut up Post It note to block them both off before I ran my card stock through the printer, then I grabbed a Copic black multiliner pen to fill in the blank spaces with smooth hair to transform her into this Bavarian bar maid. I had a blast coloring her up in all these warm fall colors and even gave her a festive fair ground to inhabit with the help from the Fall Banner Buddies stamp set by Hello Bluebird and ribbon banners from Papertrey Ink. Now I kinda want to visit our nearest Oktoberfest and enjoy some yummy pretzels and brauts! LOL
Later gators!

Merry Little Christmas...
It’s the 15th, and the OCTOBER RELEASE is now available for purchase in The Greeting Farm Store!
Our first set, features the beautiful HOLIDAY ANYA 7 with a gingerbread man cookie and the sentiment Oh Snap. The 2nd set called LITTLE ELVES has an entire crew of worker elves getting all the toys ready in Santa's workshop. Next, we have THE MORE THE MERRIER with the cutest woodland animals celebrating the holidays in style. Lastly, we introduced two new large word dies: SANTA BABY and MERRY CHRISTMAS.
To celebrate we are having a short BLOG
HOP, where one lucky fan will take home the entire release! You have until OCTOBER 18th at 12pm CST/1pm EST to leave your comments on each
Designer's Blog and The Greeting Farm Blog (letting us know you completed the hop). We will announce the random
winner later in the week.
**NOTE: Please use the same name on
all the blogs when leaving a comment. Also, please do not pick the
Anonymous option when leaving a comment (otherwise we won't be able to
verify that it's you). Thank you!
TGF Design Team:
This is a short hop so definitely worth
playing along! And if you can't wait for the hop to be over, you can
purchase these stamps and cutting dies HERE.
For my card today I wanted to play with the Little Elves set again and this time pair a few of the mini elves with the Sasquatch turned Yeti from the S'more Fun Add On digital set. I was inspired by the end of the classic Rudolph show where the Bumble comes back just in time to help them put the star on the top of the tree. Everything else on the card comes with the Little Elves set, even the sentiment!
Alrighty, I won't keep you any longer. Enjoy the hop and good luck!
