Make it Merry...

Hey there friends!

Today I'm sharing my last official card as a guest designer for Hello Bluebird. I just want to take a sec and thank all of the lovely ladies over there for inviting me to join them, this was a truly amazing release and I was proud to be a part of it! For my final card I thought it would be a fun change up from my usual card making style of stamping and masking to instead use the coordinating dies that are available for each set and manually build my scene. This was the perfect opportunity for it since I really wanted to use the cool Treehouse scene die as well. So I grabbed the Merry Mice set and planned out which cutie would be doing what on this holiday card. I'll admit that I'm so used to building my scene from the foreground to the background that it took some adjusting to reverse my process and build from the back forward. But I'm super happy with how it turned out and considering that front door really opens this will probably be the most interactive card I ever make, LOL! I gotta say, it's nice to get out of my box once in a while and stretch my creative muscles a bit but to be honest... I'm totally itchin' to see what kind of scene I can stamp and mask these mice into next time. ;)

Enjoy your Sunday!
