Hey there!
I've got a quick minute between wrapping up the TGF release and starting up the Bella previews tomorrow to share this sweet card featuring some cuties from Purple Onion Designs. I actually stamped up this scene back in December when I was working on Christmas cards but even then I thought this one could work better as a Valentine. It must be the hearts on the treehouse door and windows because that motif combined with these two excited critters had sentiments about hearts skipping or leaping come to mind. Little Douglas, the raccoon, is from the recent Pine Cone Trail release and Maggie, the mouse, is from the older Mistletoe Farm collection and yet I think they look like they were made to go together. They are both so full of energy and happiness that you can't help but smile when you see them. I colored them into a late winter/early spring type scene since most of our Valentine's Days are celebrated with a chill in the air and snow still on the ground. Then I had fun warming it up by coloring all of the different accents in various shades of pink and red. It may not be the most traditional of Valentine's cards but it sure makes me feel the love. ;)
