Alone Together...

Hey there!

As I was scrolling through Instagram yesterday morning I came across this new Desde mi Ventana (From my Window) set of digi stamps from MMedel Illustrations and instantly fell in love. So I hopped on over to Maria's etsy shop and grabbed them up. Now every single one of these fun characters would make a super cute card all on their own but seeing them together in the listing I was struck with the image of a long slim line card creating the front of an apartment building where we see all of the residents sheltering in place as individuals but also enjoying each other's company from a safe distance. As I was working with the digis in Word to get them ready for printing I somehow forgot that a traditional slim line card is 8.5" tall and instead went the entire length of the card stock at 11". I didn't realize this until I already had half the card colored and there was no way I was going to start over sooooo... I made a super long slim line card, LOL! To get an even number of window spaces I used the clapping gal twice, just reversing the one and coloring them up completely different. Then I drew in a front door to the building to fill the last space which also gave me a place to add the Alone Together sentiment. I'm not gonna lie, this one was a labor of love but what else do I have to do during this quarantine?  ;)
