Hi there!
I'm back on the Bellarific blog today with a Scenic Saturday card for all our sistahs celebrating the 4th of July holiday today. For as far back as I can remember, a delicious barbecue cook-out has always gone hand in hand with late night fireworks and good times with family and friends during this summer celebration. So when I got my hands on this cute Uptown Couple Bella and Barney's Barbecue I knew they would make for the perfect 4th of July card. Well, almost perfect. Their family got a little addition when I added the Teeny Tiny Townie who originally holds the 'V' in the Love set. All I had to do was wipe away the ink from the large letter in her hand before stamping then replace it with a hamburger that I colored in. Now the whole family is ready to celebrate... and eat! The yard/park background was colored in by hand as I drew inspiration from many of the parks and outdoor venues here in my little corner of Washington state where you can't shake a stick without hitting a pine tree. So even though this year's celebration will be a much smaller affair due to Covid 19 at least I can be as fun and festive as I want to be on my cards. ;)
Stay safe and stay crafty my friends!
