Autumn Blessings...

Good morning!

I've been busy working on a lot of different things lately and in my free time I've also been working on this sweet Fairy Dreams cutie from Whimsy Stamps. I decided to do some no-line coloring with her and while I love the end result, it is a lot more time consuming as far as techniques go. So I've been coming back to her off and on over the last couple weeks, breaking it all down into manageable pieces. First day skin, second day eyes, next time hair, etc, etc... I'm telling you this is not my normal modus operandi. Normally I'm all about getting a card done in one sitting but because I was trying something new with this kind of painterly look that I was envisioning I made myself slow down and take my time. And I gotta say, I'm glad I did. Turning this little dreamer into a fall fairy floating on a crystal clear mountain lake just makes me all kinds of happy in the end. :)
