Sweet November Stamps has a brand new clear release just added to the shop today. The Fairwees have returned for a Farewell to Summer release that includes eight new stamp sets, seven of which can be purchased in the store while the little Lynn 2x3 set is currently only available as a free gift in all orders $60 or over. And if that wasn't exciting enough, we have also added boy Fairwees to the family for the very first time! The Character sets are split into two themes; swimming and summer picnic, while the new Horizon Lines: Waterfall and Waterfall Foliage sets can easily be mixed and matched with either theme and previous releases. For anyone interested in a chance to win the entire release Sweet November is also hosting an Instagram Hop that runs today and tomorrow. We have paired up with our UK retailer, Crafty Purple Frog, and all you have to do is head over to Instagram @sweetnovemberstamps and find the full list of hop participants there. The winner will be announced on Monday. :)
For my first card I have paired freebie Lynn with the cute jumping Fairwee from the Make a Splash set. The background was created using the Horizon Lines: Waterfall and Horizon Lines: Waterfall Foliage sets. As a stamp the waterfall might look a bit intimidating but all of the line work actually breaks it down to a pretty quick way to color... kinda like paint-by-numbers. I've even got a speed coloring video of me coloring it up over on the Sweet November Stamps YouTube channel.
My second swimming card has that same jumping cutie from the Make a Splash set, though this time I stamped her leaning further back so she looks like she is sitting back in the grass. This time I paired her with Beck and one of the boy Fairwees from the Make a Splash expansion set. For the background I've used the long river bank included in the Make a Splash set and the trees are from the older Horizon Lines: Reflections set.
My final swimming card has two of the Make a Splash cuties cooling off in the water and I borrowed the trail sign from the Make a Splash expansion set.
Moving on to the Summer Picnic set, these sweet Fairwees know how to enjoy every last minute of a lazy summer day. This first card finds them making their way up from the water's edge lending a helping hand to the little bug friends thanks also to the Summer Picnic expansion set.
My second card is all about the girls who are enjoying a light repast outside their cozy teapot home.
