Brewin' up some fun...

 

Good morning!

This past weekend has been a busy one, full of coloring and creating cards with stamps from the new Halloween clear stamp release at Sweet November Stamps. There are eight new sets full of spooky cuteness but today I am shining the spotlight on the Brewin' Up Some Fun set. My first card is a large 5x7 size, easily fitting all four of the potion bottles and creepy critters into one scene. I was inspired by Caitlin's Youtube video using this same set and the cool stone wall that she colored in for the background. 

I colored my second card during a Live yesterday afternoon and this time around I only used three of the critters all masked together to fit on an A2 size card. I imagined them sitting on a shelf where the witch keeps her spell books and potion ingredients. So I colored in some large book spines behind them and an open spell book in front, which becomes a convenient space for the sentiment. I'm so happy with both of these cards but I gotta admit it doesn't hurt that this set is one of my personal faves from the release. ;)
