Autumn is my favorite color...

Hey there!

Well, we have finally made it to release day at Hello Bluebird and all of the new holiday stamps and dies will be available for purchase tonight at 7pm MST. In the meantime we still have the final sneak peeks to share with you before the stamps go live with one last chance to win a gift certificate to the HB store by visiting the Hello Bluebird blog. I'm switching gears from Christmas back to fall with this colorful card using the new Autumn Palette stamp set along with the new Grateful Frame die. The stamp set includes these two adorable little painters, three sentiments, three oak leaves, two acorns and an extra paint brush and tubes of paint. Before I started stamping in my scene I first cut the card stock using the lovely Grateful Frame die so that my stamped images could interact with the die cut spaces. I really wanted to play up the painting theme so while I colored in the entire stamped area, once I added the die cut frame back on with its leafy branch I left it entirely white except for the end of the leaf that our friendly painters are currently working on. I like how it looks as if we have caught them mid project. The sentiment was stamped on a scrap strip of white card stock using three of the ombre ink pads by Hero Arts so the letters would look just like the leaves behind them.
