From our gnome to yours...

Hello, hello!

The new holiday release is coming to the Hello Bluebird store Friday, October 29th at 7pm MST which means it is time for the team to start sharing previews of all the amazing new stamps and dies. Over these next three days leading up to the release you will want to check out the Hello Bluebird blog to see all of the festive and fun inspiration from my fellow DT members and leave a comment for a chance to win a gift certificate to the HB store. 

My card today features the new Gnome for the Holidays stamp set, which includes six cute little gnomes celebrating the holiday season, an adorable snowman, snow covered mushroom house and lots of little accessory images to really bring your scenes to life. With a bit of masking I was able to add the sitting gnome to the top of the sled and the gnome holding the lantern is peeking out from behind the snowman so it simply looks like he is waving. I wanted the this to be a light and bright day time scene so I went with a buttery yellow sky and mint colored snow. Pops of red, turquoise and green mix with a lot of neutral browns so that these darling characters really stand out and are the stars of the show. I also couldn't resist giving each of them fun knit patterns on their sweaters for a bit of a folksy look. To finish off the card I combined one of the four sentiments that are also included in the Gnome for the Holidays set with the Merriest Christmas sentiment from the new Merry Little Christmas set.
