Hello and welcome to the February new release blog hop with Colorado Craft Company. This month 3C is introducing a brand new line of stamps from artist Kris Lauren of Pretty Little Lines. I couldn't wait to ink up the adorable mice for my cards today and this first one combines the Sleeping Mouse mini stamp with the cutie, mushroom and sentiment from the This is the Life set. I stamped and masked them into a tight little group in the center of the card and even stamped the large mushroom again, omitting ink from the bottom of the stem, to make it a bit shorter. I then colored them into a simple scene using Copic markers where the morning light is sure to wake them both soon.
For my second card I stamped and masked most of the images from the Mouse House set into a cheery little scene where these friendly mice are enjoying some spring sunshine together. Once again I colored them using Copic markers and had a lot of fun trying to make their home look like a carved out butternut squash.
