Hello, hello!
So I've had my eye on the cute Quokka stamps at Kat Scrappiness for quite some time and I finally got my hands on a few sets. Yesterday I was able to get them out and have a play. The first set that I inked up was the Quokka'n Up stamps because my whole card design revolved around the Polaroid frame included in that set. After seeing all of the fun pics on the internet when you google quokka selfies, one of the things on my unofficial "bucket list" is to someday take a selfie with a real life quokka too, they just look so darn happy! Anywho, back to the card... after the frame was stamped three times I masked off the edges so only the inner square was open then I began stamping in the quokkas. In the first scene I combined the quokka with the selfie stick with one of the smaller quokkas from the Dress Up Quokka set. By masking off the arm and not inking up the selfie stick it now looks like she is giving the little one a hug. The third Polaroid combines another one of the Quokka'n Up cuties with the larger Everyday Quokka. I mean come on, how crazy adorable are they, all hamming it up for the camera?! After coloring them all in to some sunny day scenes I fussy cut the Polaroids and layered them onto a mini slimline card. The smile sentiment just seemed to fit the happy vibe perfectly and brought the whole design together. :)
Well, thanks for stopping by today and don't forget to smile!
