Hey there!

I recently added the older Palm Tree stamp to my Purple Onion Designs collection and I thought it would be really cute to pair the guitar playing bunny from the new A Special Day release with it. Considering the small size of bunnies, that guitar Bonnie is holding could easily be a ukulele, which helps take this scene into a very tropical direction.To up the laid back Hawaiian vibe I also used the older Scattered Flowers and Hush stamp to create a lei for Bonnie to wear. Those tiny flowers were the perfect size and the easiest way to make that lei was by stamping the flowers on a scratch piece of card stock, coloring them, then fussy cutting and gluing them into place once the scene was completely colored. Now Bonnie has been transformed from a back yard band player to a beach strolling minstrel singing her island songs. The sentiment is from the Sweet Summer Sentiment set and boy do I wish it were true, LOL!  ;)
