Hello there!
Free shipping days for the new Anita Jeram Christmas take II release begin today and I'm excited to be joining in this month's blog hop with Colorado Craft Company. There are five new large sets and two minis, with coordinating dies for each! To celebrate this cheery release 3C is giving away a new stamp set from each stop on the hop, so the more you comment the more chances you have to win. Entries will be accepted until midnight mountain time December 4th and winners will be randomly selected by 3C and announced on their blog the next day. They are also doing a HUGE complete bundle giveaway to ONE lucky winner. To be entered for that you have to use one of the designer's affiliate links when you place an order. Those links can be found on the 3C blog and will be included in one of their emails as well. In the mean time, here's the complete list of hop participants for you to check out:
For my second card I used the new White Christmas set. The large sentiment that is also included actually inspired the background scene that I created for these cute critters to be walking through. Rather than going with something woodsy, I omitted the tree on the left side of the stamp so I could sketch in some simple shops all lit up from the inside. I love how it looks like they are heading back home after a day of shopping for gifts.
My third card pairs the new Sled Bunny set with the older Sweetest Snowman mini. I stamped them all together on a mini slimline card front and colored them with light colors to reflect the snowy scene they are inhabiting out in the center of the meadow.
Finally, I inked up the Best Gift Shrew mini and paired her with the Snow Good Sledding stamp, minus the sledding mice and ladder. I went with another night scene as we find the little shrew bringing a gift to her snowy friend.
Ok, time to send you on your way. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the hop!

ReplyDeleteAgain Anita Jeram has given us the most wonderful group of stamps--and she would be so proud at what you've done with them. Each of your cards are so beautiful and I just think from your coloring that I could just step into the scenes! WONDERFUL!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic selection of cards, and so creative - you have really enhanced the stamps with your own artwork. The city sidewalk scene is just perfect, right out of a story book; I love how the little mouse is adding more gifts to the sled (or maybe removing them?!); and the night-time scene with the snowman, well, what can I say? the light and shade are just right and an inspiration.
ReplyDeleteOMG! I love the rabbit pulling the sled with the sweet snowman. Gorgeous!
