Hey there!
Apparently I have a thing for the cute mice at Hello Bluebird because when I pulled out the new Bloomin' Happy set to ink up, out of all the adorable critters it was the mouse who was talking to me the loudest. I paired her with all of the mushrooms included in the set to create a cozy little hide-away, which I reinforced with some tall blades of grass growing up behind them as well. I wasn't feeling like the traditional red spotted mushrooms so I opted for a pretty creamsicle orange instead. Paired with the aqua blue sky and the bright green grass, I think this scene has a lovely summer look to it. I also went outside my A2 comfort zone and opted for a square card, using the pretty scallop frame from the Rainbow Square die to make that happen. Usually that's all I need to call a card complete but for some reason this one had me reaching for my long neglected stash of buttons until I had three pretty orange buttons to add to the design. I think they add a sweet finishing touch to the whole thing. :)
Toodles!
