The Haunted Manor digital release at SN!

 

Hello friends!

The new Haunted Manor Portraits digital release is now available at Sweet November Stamps and it includes five creepy characters who have had their images captured on canvas, only to be found hanging on the walls of a haunted Halloween house. There is Lady Arachne St. Croix all covered in spiders, Count Dracul with a pair of vampire bats, Baron VonWolvington and the werewolf howling at the moon, Madame Regina Ravenwood with her flock of ravens and last but not least, Marchioness Serpentina Veleno with her venomous asps. There is also a set of two digital wall backgounds available for those times you want to speed up the scene building process.

For my first card I printed out Lady Arachne St. Croix and masked her off so I could use the Halloween Room Background Builder set to add the stone wall for the portrait to hang on. Once everything was colored I used an old Halloween stamp set from my stash to heat emboss the spider webs and sentiment onto the card. Next up was the portrait of Count Dracul and I colored a wood wall for it to hang on. With that done I found the perfect sentiment and stamped it onto a banner that I die cut out of black card stock and placed above the frame. The card still felt like it needed something so I went a bit crazy and used an old paint splatter stamp set and some red ink to make it look like the Count had gotten a bit carried away with his last meal, LOL! 

The next portrait hanging in the gallery is of Baron VonWolvington. As soon as that pocket watch strikes midnight he will transform into his beastly form and roam the lands looking for his next victim. I did a simple black wallpaper for the background and added gold pin stripes using a gel pen as well as a tear in the wall paper, probably from the last time that the Baron wolfed out. ;)

 
Finally for today, we find Madame Regina Ravenwood as the artist captured her strolling though a graveyard. A flock of ravens flying through the night sky calling out to the dead on All Hallow's Eve. The wallpaper behind the portrait was created by using a swirly stencil and adding it over the blue violet base with the Copic airbrush system.
