The holidays have arrived at Purple Onion Designs!

 

 

Good morning!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Purple Onion Designs and as an extra special gift there is a brand new artist being added to the POD line-up! For my first Whispering Pines card I created a cute slimline scene where Clementine the hedgehog and Marley the penguin are getting their picture taken with Santa by the sweet bear photographer Huebert. The subtle, snowy background was created by stamping the Little Pines in a light grey ink and barely shading it in with some cool grey Copics. The large Merry Christmas sentiment is an older one but it filled the space perfectly on this long card.

My first Pei card is a faux post card that also uses the older Vintage Post Card set and Vintage Holiday Postmark set to set the scene for the Poinsettia Love skunk. This sweetie is adding some much needed color to a grey winter day with his floral offering. I added a bit more color to the postage stamp with the flower pot from the Door Decor #1 Fall/Winter set and the sentiment is part of the older Essential Holiday Greetings set.

 

Finally, POD's newest artist is Holly Mabutes and her darling Winterwood collection includes 30 stamps. This charming bundle deal is also 30% OFF through November 15th at $134.00. I couldn't wait to pair up this amazing Kris Kringle and his mischievous kitten, Cuddles, with the older Toy Workshop background to create a glimpse into the place where all of that Christmas magic happens. The sentiment is another one from that older Essential Holiday Greetings set.
