Wicked Wishes...

Olo!

I'm such a fan of the cute Whimsabellas at Stamping Bella, so I was very excited to see that two seasonal sweeties were added in the new Holiday release. This wickedly wonderful stamp is Whimsabella Witch Elspeth Spindlewick, and I love how her curls fill the entire width of the brim on her pointy hat. She's got her broom in hand and she is about to take off into that full moon sky. In the background I stamped half of the Haunted House Backdrop so that it created just a hint of the scenery behind Elspeth. This also left me with plenty of room for the moon and sentiment from the Wicked Words Sentiment set. A traditional Halloween color scheme of orange, purple and green drives home the spooky cuteness of the entire card.  :)

Laters!

It's a beautiful day...

Hi there!

My card today is a mix of old and new stamps from Purple Onion Designs. Technically, this cute Bonjour bear is part of the Chilliezgraphy by Pei Spring is in the Air collection but since it took me this long to color him up I decided to give him a fall make-over. I also wanted him to be in a more urban setting so I paired Bonjour with the older Row House Background that was part of a past Christmas release. The hint of fall simply comes through my choice of colors in the bear's outfit and the sprinkling of a few fallen leaves along the sidewalks edge. The sentiment is from the older Sweet Summer Sentiment set and I had the perfect empty space for it down on the road in front of this sweet bicycling bear.  :)

Have a good one!

You're a-maize-ing...

Good morning!

Magical little pixies bringing in the corn harvest? Yes, please! This fun scene is another one that has been sitting on my desk since last year. Well, at least the cute pixies from Impronte d'Autore were. It wasn't until yesterday that I decided to mask off Folletto Acero, UMP Mais and UMM Mais so that I could add the Cornfields from Purple Onion Designs behind them. This small addition finally got the ball rolling again and I was able to color the scene pretty quickly. They were even die cut out already which made completing the card even quicker. I just love the idea of magical little helpers hiding among the fields and gardens during this harvest season, don't you?  :)

Thanks for stopping by!

Fill the world with sunshine...

Hello there!

It's a review weekend at Sweet November Stamps and the team and I are getting ready for the big Fall/Halloween clear release that is coming next Saturday. We will be sharing the regular round of sneak peeks this Thursday but I wanted to get a jump start on previewing something new on my card today. First, I stamped the beautiful girl and some sunflowers from the older Bountiful Blessings: Soft Sunshine set, then I masked them off before stamping the brand new Front Porch Background right over top. This big 6x6 stamp is our first single stamp complete background and I'm super excited for you all to see it. Because of its large size you can create slightly different looks on your smaller A2 sized cards just by choosing a different portion of the stamp to ink up. We've got some other fun things to go with this new background but you will have to wait for the official release to see those. If you are interested in watching this scene get colored up, there is a quick Reel over on my Instagram and eventually a longer speed coloring will also be added to the Sweet November Stamps YouTube channel. I will also be coloring it up again Live today at 11am PDT over on my Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page along with another sneak peek of a different stamp set coming next week.

Hope you will be able to join me!  :)

A big pile of leaves...

TGIF!

I went back to the stack of pre-stamped card fronts that sits on my desk and found this sweet scene just waiting for some fall colors. These adorable squirrels are from the Nuts for Fall set that was part of the Fall/Halloween kit release at Hello Bluebird last September. I always stamp up a bunch of scenes before releases and this one never quite made it onto a card. So, I'm super happy to have finally brought these playful squirrels to life, even if it took a year to happen... LOL! The Nesting Deckle Mini Slimline die was used to frame the scene, adding to the rustic charm of the completed card. I gotta say, every time I get another scene off my desk and turned into a card it makes me so happy.  :)

Have a good one!
