A sweeter friend...

Hi there!

The Sweet November Stamps design team and I are continuing to showcase cute stamps from the Summertime Adventures clear release. I wanted to revisit the Bountiful Blessings: Cherry on Top set and use it to make a postage collage style card. The die is a larger A6 postage collage from Waffle Flower Crafts, so that I had a bit more room in the individual squares. With a bit of masking around the edges I was able to add the pretty girl and her cherries along the top half of the card and puppies and crate of cherries to the bottom half. Once everything was stamped and colored I used the Year Round Post Marks set to add all of the postage accent finishing touches. If you would like to watch this card come together, there is a quick Reel over on Instagram and a longer speed coloring version will eventually be added to the Sweet November Stamps YouTube channel.

Toodles!

You light up...

TGIF!

Today I've got another one of the cards that were colored during the release weekend marathon of Lives over on my Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page. This dusky evening scene featuring the adorable Flutterbee Kaylee was our grand finale that Sunday and she did not disappoint. I paired her with the Autumn Cottages Background Builder set and we got a lot of practice coloring glowing light throughout this sweet scene. Kaylee certainly looks like she has captured magic in that old mason jar and in a way I suppose she has... the magic of fond childhood memories being made.  :)

Have a great weekend!

A fabulous day...

Hello again!

Today I'm hitting the pool with one of the fab new stamps at Purple Onion Designs. I'm such a fan of these bird's eye view type of images and Tofu's Flamingo Floatie from the new Tofu and Friends Spring is in the Air collection is too stinkin' cute! You can feel the absolute chill vibe as this chonky kitty floats atop the cool, blue pool water in her trendy flamingo shaped floatie. Coloring shiny/reflective surfaces like the plastic blow up floatie is always a fun challenge and I'm really pleased with how this one turned out. Once I had Tofu all colored up I masked her off and used the Copic airbrush system and a stencil to create the surface of the water. The sentiment is another from the Summer Days Sentiment set, and it really encapsulates the fabulousness of Tofu. ;)

Thanks for stopping by!

A high seas hello...

Hi friends!

I hope you are in the mood for another fun pirate card because I've got another one to share from the Sweet November Stamps new Summertime Adventures clear release. Of course I had to make a faux post card using the A Wee Bit of Piracy and the Yo Ho Ho Background Builder sets, so I inked up the pirate captain staking his claim and proceeded to create a simple scene for him through a mix of hand coloring and air brushing. The new Fantasy Post Marks were perfect for the finishing touches I needed along with a couple of 'gold coins' from the Pirate's Booty sequin mix. I think it all came together to create a real treasure of a card.  :)

Later gators!
