Spots and stripes

Yeah! It's Thursday, which is my Friday this week as I have the next two days off... sweet! :)
Can you tell I'm pretty excited about that? LOL

So I don't know how many of you are watching American Idol this season but can I just say that so far all it's done for me is make me long even more for the return of my beloved Glee so I can hear some good singing again... yeesh. There are a couple contestants that show some promise but all in all this entire group just seems so much weaker than the last few seasons. I don't know, maybe I've just been too spoiled by Glee in this past year that everything else is now falling short. Can you tell I am reeeeeally ready for Glee to start back up? Withdrawls are totally kickin' in and I don't think my DVDs are gonna cut it anymore. ;)

Ok, onto why you're all here... my card today is for this week's ATS challenge which is to use dots and stripes. I knew I wanted to play with BB Daffodil again and this time I went really soft and mellow in the colors which the Cosmo Cricket Earth Love was perfect for. Oh and I also threw in the little bun-bun from the Spring Elves set as the lucky recipient of that pretty flower BB has picked to complete the scene. :)

So now it's your turn to play along and this week the prize is your choice of any TWO individual stamps sold in the ATS store! Woot woot! Just remember that in order to be eligible to win, your card must include a stamp that is sold in the All That Scraps store. Whether it is any of our wonderful in house designs or from the various other stamp companies that ATS carries, the choice is yours.     Your card is ADORABLE....Ok, I gotta tell you this about Glee. I JUST found out last night that I went to school with one of the founders of Glee and that his MOM was my teacher for YEARS when I was in Catholic school! I could'nt believe it-my Mom asked me last night when we saw the commercial for the upcoming April season..she goes "Yeah, wow, can you believe Ian Brennan really made a name for himself?" I said "WHAT?!?!?!" Anyway, just thought I'd share ;)

    Hi Amy. Happy Friday to you.. :D I love this card. It is so adorable with the bunny getting a flower. I love the papers and the coloring and the whole card.lol...I am soooo waiting for GLee! I have been watching the DVD's too and I really want to know What's Next! It doesn't start till April? :C Oh well, I guess you can't have everything all the time...hehee. Have a quick day at work.     I know what you mean by AI falling short but I've stopped watching regularly since the contestants who did not win started doing better than the ones who did (Jennifer Hudson, that first rocker guy). And yessss, I miss Glee and nearly died when they showed a sneak peek of future episodes!

    Your card is super cute! Love the sketch and Earth Love. I'm bummed as I seemed to have misplaced chick after shortly getting it in the mail from ATS! Cross your fingers that I find it soon!

    We have Australian Idol here in Oz and I haven't watched it in the last couple of years - maybe I am getting too old but most of them are way too young for me to even care about. LOL. The guy who won that last season - I don't care for his singing much. LOL. I am having withdrawals for a totally different show - True Blood. I love it. Can't wait until it is back on later this year. Soon - woo hoo.

    As for you gorgeous card. Well what can I say - Gorgeous as always.

    Amy, this is just so sweet and adorable!! Love the soft colors!!! Can you believe I'v never watched Glee yet!! I need to get the DVD's before the next season starts so I will be caught up and know what is going on when it starts up again. I keep seeing previews for it but for some reason I keep forgetting to watch it!! But not this years as the previews just look awesome!! Have a great 2 days off!! ANd I agree about Idol!! I am so hoping their singing will get better as the last 2 yrs were just awesome!!
