Getting sneaky with TGF

Olo!

Something delightfully different is coming to...
THE GREETING FARM!
Can you guess what it is?
I'm thrilled to be part of an exciting preview being revealed TOMORROW, August 14th!
Some dear TGF alum are back along with the Farmers and we have a surprise coming for you... so be sure to tune into the TGF BLOG today and leave your guess as to what that might be! Are we too transparent? ANY idea as to what this special mid-month release could be?
Well, stay tuned and I'll see you back here tomorrow to see if you're still stumped or if you've seen RIGHT THROUGH to what we're about to reveal!

How's that for something exciting to look forward too?
But you know I wouldn't leave ya with just a snippet for today... ;)
I recently got my order of the new Birthday Anya 2 and Birthday Ian stamps the other day and I really wanted to play with this new Anya. But I wasn't really in the mood to make a birthday card so I broke out the baby wipes, light box and multiliner pens to do a bit of altering.
As soon as I saw this new Anya I totally fell in love with her fab hair-do and her cute dress ain't too shabby either. But the giant cupcake was kinda getting in the way so I did my 'wipe away' technique that you can see here, then stamped the original image onto a thin piece of computer paper as well. I taped it to my light box face down so that the image was reversed and laid the image I was altering right on top of it. This allowed me to trace in a new eye, arm and half the dress to fill the "hole" that the missing cupcake created.
This gave me the sweet, non-theme specific Anya that I was going for. Though I couldn't resist giving her a little flower to hold in her new clasped hands. Sometimes a girl has got to do pretty just for pretty's sake, don'tcha think? :)

Alrighty, see ya back here tomorrow for the big reveal... I'm clearly excited!

  3. Hi Amy. I just received my new TGF stamps today and I am so excited to color Anya up as well. She is just too sweet and Tuesday is my Mom's Birthday, so you can guess what she is geting for a card. lol...I love what you have done with your alterations! She looks so soft and pretty with flower in her hand and the way you have colored her. Love it! If I had to guess that looks like Fairy Eva is coming back to play on the farm.. I can not wait to see what is going on. Have a wonderful day. I am hoping Madie is feeling better tomorrow so that we can go for our walk and she can play with the stamps with me. Hugs, Lisa

  11. I had to come back and tell you that I just loved the penny that you put on your card. What an adorable idea. She really is just so so pretty and I love how the DP makes it look like she is standing in front of a window that is showing a field of flowers that she has just been for a long walk in. lol...
