I'll get you my pretty...

Oh Monday, Monday... do you ever think of the days of the week as having personalities and poor Monday is always wondering why everyone dreads it so much? Or perhaps Monday is actually a bit devilish and relishes making all of us moan and groan... I tend to think it would be the second scenario, LOL!

But before I head back out to the daily grind I have a card that was actually started last week when I used the images for a few coloring videos that you can check out here or on Color Me Copic. I was waiting to get my hands on the new Bella Blvd papers and once I did I had to put them to use finishing off this card. I actually used a mix of the 'Too Cute to Spook' and 'Finally Fall' lines with sweet little witchy Birgitta because the colors went perfectly with the way I had colored up the scene. The circle design came about when I decided to cut the scene into a circle but didn't want to cut into the moon. So when I cut around it as well and laid the whole thing down on the black card base I thought it would look cool to just keep adding layers of different sized paper circles. Once they were down I added seasonal bits and bobs to pull everything together, a few leaves here, a spider there... have I mentioned lately that I love making Halloween cards? ;)
And luckily for me I've got more than a few coming up later this week when all new Sweet November previews begin... wink, wink!

Later gators! :)

  23. I love Elpheba!! Your card is tres fantastique!!!! I just loooove your circles! Not sure if you know Kelly Purkey but she's one of my favorite scrapbookers and her background in graphic design allows her to make lay-outs like your card. So I definitely am digging this. The papers are perfect and so are the touches of leaves and the skull brad w/ twine!

  29. Hi Amy! I have a question for you! I’m trying to follow your YouTube video of Halloween Birgitta coloring green skin. I’m not getting past the masking of the stamps though. How did you do it with red rubber? This is my first time masking and I imagine with clear it’d be easier.
