Let's shell-abrate...

Good morning!

I've been waiting anxiously for the MerMay release to drop at Some Odd Girl today and let me tell you, it does not disappoint. I may or may not already have them all printed out and ready to color... LOL! Anywho, I also saw where they will be hosting a MerMay challenge later this month and that reminded me that I still had a handful of SOG mermaids already colored up from previous challenges. So I pulled out my stack of colored images and found this sweet Puffer Cone Mermaid just waiting to finally make it on a card. So I set about creating a quick background for her to live in. With her pink hair and candy colored tail I decided to go completely outside the box and make my water pink as well. Who says all water has to be blue, right? The hint of a cave opening, some coral and dangling kelp finished off the fun and super girly scene of this surprised mer and her Neapolitan puffers.

Hope your week is off to a great start!
