Thanks for all your kelp...

Olo!

So, this is another scene that has been sitting and waiting on my desk for ages and it was perfect for my limited crafty time these days. This particular mermaid is a Mer Bean digi that was included with the purchase of a TGF Mystery Box from back in the day. She looks so shy and sweet that I thought it would be cute to have her peeking out from behind some tall stands of kelp. Since The Greeting Farm hasn't made a Build-a-Seascape digi set yet, I instead found this plant in the Gardening digi set. By stacking it three times in graduating smaller sizes it totally took on the look of tall strands of kelp. Off in the distance I hand colored in some smaller kelp using tone on tone colors with the water to help flesh out the background. I also stamped in a cute fish from the Cheeky Mermaids set to keep this adorable Mer Bean company. I'm sure feeling quite proud of myself for how much I've whittled down my stack of images so far this year, and it's only June!

Anywho, thanks for stopping by!
